I stayed at the Ramada Hotel, Coventry and was allocated a room on the 9th floor, I was not asked if I wanted a smoking room or not. On entering the room it was evident the room had been used by someone who smokes, I guess the ashtray and the burn marks on the desk would have given it away... More

First time here. Put me on top floor (16th), possibly the tallest place in Coventry. Nice room (1608) with a good bed, good bathroom and a sofa and workdesk and big TV. Getting there by car, I find that the Ramada is easy to find. There were many parking spaces available for a small charge. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming and not irritated by her colleage standing behind her with crossed arms and watching her every move all the time (was that her boss???) Both the evening and morning staff in reception were very welcoming and helpful. My room was a good size, well stocked with essentials and very clean and modern. I slept well.
