We booked a one night stay to visit family. The room was spotlessly clean, the water in the shower was a constant heat, the room was very inviting and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was excellent with an extensive choice of cereals, fruit, miniature pastry's and a full English breakfast on offer. The staff were friendly. We... More

Reception looks tatty when you walk in and does not give a good first impression. A few other areas of the hotel look very tired, wallpaper curling up in the corners etc. This is a shame as the staff are great, very friendly and helpful. I had a very large room with a really comfy four poster bed, a very... More

We found this hotel via booking.com and booked it simply because the price and location was perfect. It is very easy to find initially. Plenty of car parking. On arrival we where greeted by the chef who very quickly found someone to help us. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. We where given room 16. It was a nice... More

this was our fourth visit to the hotel it is in the perfect location for us for visiting family. Have not given it higher rating only because they are refurbishing it,so therefore there are some parts awaiting improvement. But it is just so friendly and comfortable so almost feels like home. It has a bit of soul about it unlike... More

A group of us stay here whenever we need to go to our office in Coventry. Its been our regular place to stay due to the excellent value offers available. Only had dinner there once, but was very impressed. Great Breakfast too. It isn't a fancy hotel, but they seem to be gradually making improvements and as a no-nonsense place... More

Left waiting upon arrival, no one at reception, and their phones were not working. The first room they put me in had not been cleaned at all, with rubbish still in the bins.. the second room had a lot of grime everywhere and even the shower left me feeling dirty. I would not stay here again.

Stayed for one Saturday night on a visit to see family in Coventry. Rooms are a little dated but everything was clean and functional and for the price paid are excellent value. Breakfast was exceptional for a small hotel, a good selection of fruit, cheeses, pastries, cereals and yoghurts. Full English is freshly prepared to your individual order and presented... More

Stayed in a refurbished room which was very good, cannot comment on the rooms which have not been refurbished. Lovely bathroom (with large bath and overhead shower) with lots of hot water. Only criticism was we were above the reception area and bar so there was quite a lot of noise until closing time, minor detail really. Staff were very... More

The hotel was a good location for us. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room nice enough (really good considering the last minute deal we got). Free parking right outside, decent breakfast. Free wifi, but signal not very strong. The only thing that let it down was the mattress. It was really really soft - so that when you... More

Stayed here as a last minute booking, basically left a previous hotel due to it being 'horrible' at 6.30pm and booked in ( nine of us) by 7pm vey friendly clean and helpful. Exstemely reasonable costs for bead an breakfast, the breakfast was very good, and the staff even made breakfast for a colleague who came down too late. The... More
