Stayed for one Saturday night on a visit to see family in Coventry. Rooms are a little dated but everything was clean and functional and for the price paid are excellent value. Breakfast was exceptional for a small hotel, a good selection of fruit, cheeses, pastries, cereals and yoghurts. Full English is freshly prepared to your individual order and presented... More

Stayed in a refurbished room which was very good, cannot comment on the rooms which have not been refurbished. Lovely bathroom (with large bath and overhead shower) with lots of hot water. Only criticism was we were above the reception area and bar so there was quite a lot of noise until closing time, minor detail really. Staff were very... More

The hotel was a good location for us. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room nice enough (really good considering the last minute deal we got). Free parking right outside, decent breakfast. Free wifi, but signal not very strong. The only thing that let it down was the mattress. It was really really soft - so that when you... More

Stayed here as a last minute booking, basically left a previous hotel due to it being 'horrible' at 6.30pm and booked in ( nine of us) by 7pm vey friendly clean and helpful. Exstemely reasonable costs for bead an breakfast, the breakfast was very good, and the staff even made breakfast for a colleague who came down too late. The... More

Myself and some work colleagues stayed at the Jacobean after our Christmas party, we were originally at a different hotel but we left as it was disgusting (Allesley hotel), therefore we were a very very late last minute booking, however the hotel and the staff accommodated all 9 of us fantastically. The staff knew of the dramas we'd had at... More

stayed one night. The room was lovely but lacked some basics which I would have expected as a minimum - glass in room to have some water. Telephone. Room service. The staff were great and reception staff really helpful. The outside of the hotel is brilliant but the interior decor really does let it down.

We stayed at Jacobean Hotel for just a night when we are visiting Coventry and Warwick. The property, the staff and the facilities, all was just great!!! It's the most lovely, peaceful and welcoming hotel I stayed among the 4 hotels during my England visit. Almost perfect on cleanliness, service and the food quality!!!! Need to mention that they provide... More

What a find Were running around looking for somewhere not packed and full of screaming kinds to hsve a quiet sunday lunch, and fast running out of options, heading for the toll gate Holyhead road cov as a last resort and spotted the jacobean hotel opposite, thought nothing to loose so pulled in. Entering the hotel lobby we asked if... More

Our room was a good size, well furnished (apart from torn lampshades) and a very comfortable bed. The only down side was access - a lot of stairs and no lift. The décor is generally tired and the place probably could do with a refurb especially the bathroom. . Although the reception staff were pleasant a little more enthusiasm and... More

Stayed a number of times and can't fault it , welcoming warm with good fresh foods means value for money . Short distance from town centre , good location for short trip to airport. Luke & staff always on hand for any problems that's if you have any. Name change not long ago
