Quite cheap, well located. Car park free, good option to stop for one night. Clean room, but could have more options of movies and charge less for it. Fast check out, even though had a queue at 7am. Overall very good for a budget hotel! more

Poor staff service. Manager does not care. Meals microwaved and overpriced. If I had not paid in advance would have checked out again. more

Ok its cheap, and its alright for one night but if you can stay in a premier inn instead I would! The staff are all foreign, and not with the greatest grasp of English, they couldn't decided whether we had pre paid or not even though we had. When we arrived they said we had not paid and wanted a further payment. We logged onto their computer at the hotel to prove we had an E-mail confirmation. The Hotel is average .. nothing special but no where near as bad as say the Hyland. Clean and functional. Staff all foreign. Bad smell from bathroom so went and bought air freshener. Stayed here in early April. Can't fault the place. Good location (seemed the best location Accor Hotel in the area) There was a travel lodge but it looked very shabby. Didnt bother with the breakfast as it was so close to the city centre and there are plenty of places that do more for less - Wetherspoons, Bhs, Lloyds #1... more

This is not as bad as some people make out. Stayed 1 night only, paid £55 through laterooms.com. Breakfast additional, not included. Room was OK comfortable bed, but it’s ugly at first sight. In all fairness it was only cheap ( £35) for one night but it was very very basic. The bed was on two metal legs sticking out of the wall and Laurence flewellyn bowen had obviously had his mits on it ( budget styleeee obviously) cos under the mattress was a big plank of MDF!!!!
