The room was large and clean but tatty. There was peeling wallpaper, wardrobe and bathroom doors wouldn't close and the colour TV was monochrome in places. I've stayed here 5 or 6 times now; I keep returning because the location can't be beat. That being said, this is not a nice hotel. Besides the convenience of location (proximity to my customer in the town centre), the hotel benefits from age in the sense that the rooms are spacious.
