Even a basic room is fantastic, so comfy, so authentic. We have never stayed in such a truly beautiful place. We were still buzzing a week later, just brilliant. The medieval banquet was excellent, the food was gorgeous, very filling, the entertainment was histerical. The breakfast was a little sad, but who cares after such a fantastic night before. Loved... We stayed for one night at Coombe Abbey for my wifes Birthday. From the moment we walked into the reception area there was a distinct feeling about this wonderful romantic hotel. I managed to book the well sought after Feature room the princess elizabeth which was fantastic,a lovley large room with all amenities, a beautiful four poster bed and a... More

Went here for Christmas style Sunday lunch and ate in the Orangery. Food was excellent, and Santa even turned up to see the kids on other tables! Place was extremely busy - not surprising for the time of year - and whilst some staff were very attentive others were clearly just brought in as seasonal staff and struggled with the... More

Here on a work away day - and stunning setting with unique buildings. Whole place was full of quirky period details - not all that matched but that did not detract. Staff excellent and very helpful, while the food was very, very good. Slightly quirky room with a bed in the corner up some stairs, but a wonderful feel to... More

I visited this hotel with a group to take part in the medieval banquet. Firstly the accommodation, well its set in an old abbey converted to a hotel which looks brilliant from the outside and has nice grounds. Checking in took absolutely ages as they had 2 staff on the desk and what looked like a fair few groups turning... More

Went here for our works christmas party, what a treat. My room was fantastic, very grand you feel like a princess. In the morning I had the swans swimming in the moat, and all the frost on the trees lining the drive made it picture perfect. The food and staff where faultless. Would recommend to anyone celebrating something special.

I thought this hotel was charming. They have kept true to the building's medieval heritage with the interior decor. My room was lovely and big with a nice ensuite bathroom that contained an enormous bath. I had a comfortable nights stay for a business trip and would definitely return. The breakfast was delicious but I was less impressed with corporate... More

We enjoyed afternoon tea at coombe abbey today. The hotel is amazing the food delightful and the staff were just brilliant! They were all so attentive and warm it felt like we could have asked for anything and nothing would have been too much trouble! Can't wait to go again

Stayed over after a lovely function on a Sunday afternoon. Lovely room in new Priory Building; modern with great facilities but still full of character and style in keeping with the stunning Coombe Abbey building! Service was excellent, staff were friendly and efficient and breakfast was superb. Would recommend Coombe Abbey to anyone visiting this part of the Country!!!

had a conference and Christmas party at the hotel... what a great experience... really enjoyed it. the building is quite spectacular and full of history. The room i had very quirky and had a few steps leading to a round bath tub! the only thing is there was nowhere really to hang your clothes.
