Although my wife and I only stayed one Saturday night in the Strathallan, we felt it was too good not to review it. The beds are extremely comfortable, although the rooms are somewhat small if you get an in facing room. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the breakfast buffet is superb. We will definitely stay again.

Girlfriend was in town and we stayed here. Hotel was excellent only issue was the bed had seen better days with springs that hurt our backs. Room 442. Apart from that it was the perfect stay. Will stay again :)

Booked for the weekend for the finals day. Perfect location quality large room but a little road noise as on busy main road. Room clean and well appointed. Full range for breakfast and self service for those with a good appetite. Staff friendly and helpful, secure free car park and a comfy small bar area. Would stay again and recommend... More

This hotel is ok. Despite the inner room that we were in 703 being so small you couldn't swing a cat in the rest of the hotel is ok. We asked for the chairs and the table to be removed which was done within 5 minutes. The hotel is clean. The breakfast was good nothing to complain about. We asked... More

We needed a cheap stop over on our way to Yorkshire and this came up at just under £40 for a double room with no breakfast. As other reviewers have said the hotel looks very 70's from the outside but inside has been refurbished so looks like any other hotel of a similar grade. A major benefit of other city... More

Oh dear… It’s hard to know where to start: I booked a room at this hotel after looking at the reviews on Trip Advisor, and also the fact that it offers ample parking for hotel guests, which is not the case for many other hotels in this area. I booked the most expensive grade of ‘superior king bedded’ room, which... More

We've been coming to visit our son in Birmingham for 7 years, since he first moved there as a student. We've stayed in lots of different hotels over this time, including a few others on the Hagley Road (there's one in particular that really should have been condemned long ago!), and I always thought the Strathallan looked like a 70s...
