Great hotel. Spotless. Rooms warm clean and everything you need. Bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. Great secure parking. Staff were incredible. Really professional and kind. Very impressed when i watched a young waitress help an elderly gentleman with a walker to get his breakfast and coffee ect. She was so considerate and kind to him. We... More

We were initially allocated a boxed size room, definately not big enough for two!! Paid additional £15 for upgrade. We didn't have much dealings with the staff other than check in, where the receptionist couldn't even look up and smile. Went for a night out, arriving back at 3am, did the bell but nobody on reception answered the door-assuming they... More

This is not somewhere to spend a night let alone 2 or 3! The rooms are so worn that the wall paper is falling off the walls and the stains on the carpet are repulsive. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The buffet breakfast both hot and cold was all dried out and when we requested actual hot food... More

I do wonder how some of these 4 star business hotels achieve their rating. This is a solidly good 2 star or low 3 star hotel. Bar full of large screen TV's showing football, food uninspiring and sarcastic barman. Had to change rooms as the walls are paper thin, toiletries poor and constant whistling noise from extractor fan. Breakfast the... More

Paid for a small room, and got a SMALL ROOM! Made the error of booking through Booking.com and went for the cheapest room, then found out the price was reduced by £20 three days before my trip. The staff were great, hotel lobby was great, but the room was just too small for my liking!

There's a reason why all the averts for this hotel don't show the outside - it's very dated, unattractive & to be honest tatty - rest of family looked aghast when we pulled into the car park! However, our room - family/exec room- was very good. It was 2 rooms with kingsize bed in one & double sofa bed in... More

Just come back from a 2 night break.....2 nights B&B and a three course evening meal on one night for £99... Rooms are 'compact' but they are very clean and well presented. The staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast, buffet style was very nice, good choice of toast, croissants, cereals, cooked breakfast, endless coffee and juice. A very enjoyable stay.... More

Stayed here overnight as we were going to a concert in town and it is very convenient for the bus.. Didn't spend too much time in hotel so can't comment on anything other than our room,it was clean, nice comfortable bed and had everything you needed..It is an odd shape and our room was in the inner bit with no view... Stayed here for 2 nights as part of the superbreak deal B&B plus one nights evening meal. The staff on reception were nice enough although when we had previously called one lady was slightly rude. Although, on arriving all staff couldn't have done enough for us. Our bedroom was an inner room on the top floor. We had read previous... More
