This is a travelodge, you know what to expect. It is clean, the staff were friendly and our room was large. (No.158) and on the street side of the hotel so no problem with noise. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children and thus booked a family room. We have stayed in many travelodges premier inns etc. in family rooms but this was the smallest ever. Beds consisted of a double and a very old dusty and falling to bits sofa with a pull out trolley underneath for the second childs bed.... more

Not a great welcome - asked to sit down and wait by stony faced receptionist who was obviously having to sort out a problem with some guests. The hotel is very centrally located. There are restaurants and entertainment places around it, though I wasn't there for entertainment nor holiday. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money. more

This hotel has an excellent location, there are many pubs & restaurants nearby, with the renovated canal basin about five minutes walk away.
