Stayed a Saturday night. Nice rooms and helpful front desk staff. Clean and good security. Only possible issue is the slight distance to the parking lot. Nothing major though. Would stay here again if in Birmingham.

We stayed here for one night to allow visit to family and to jewellery quarter. It was very clean and large room and comfortable. The breakfast was all we could eat and drink and was lovely, hot and very tasty. The staff welcomed us. On arrival Ashmina & Sophie were working and being disabled they offered any help we needed... This hotel could be very good but is let down by poor beds and by noise from outside. This comes from planes and by groups of people who congregate outside late at night. The room was very warm and the window did not give sufficient ventilation. The entrance is difficult to spot and it is a reasonable walk from the... More

Very clean and good value for money. car parking was my main issue, not good for lone female customers as you have to walk 5 mins to hotel in the dark along an outside corridor that was pretty scarey late at night alone. Also on a flight path so quite noisey at times !

Large room, comfortable but spartan, missed extra towels and pillows (there were two of us). I suppose we could have asked but as we were only staying two nights we didn't bother. Parking is quite unusual in that you have to check in, get a slip for the car park and instructed to park only in the orange pay and... More

After checking in hotel, we found our room had only been set up for 2 adults and not 2 adults and 1 child. No bedding for the sofa bed, not a problem ... I went to reception to ask for the bed to be made up whilst we went out for dinner. I was told that as we had already... More

We chose this hotel for an overnight stay as we had business in Birmingham on the 24th of May. It was budget price only £52 for a nights stay on a Bank Holiday weekend. There was three of us sharing a family room and with my daughter a wheelchair user we needed easy access to the room and the hotel.... More

Stayed at Travelodge Fort Dunlop on the 25/05/14 for 1 night ( Sunday night) i had seen some of the reviews on here so wasn't expecting much. We arrived very late around 1.30 am, we had some difficulty finding the right car park to park in and the entrance to the hotel isnt very well signed posted. After being checked... More

This was an ideal location to stay before we had to catch a flight from Birmingham airport the next morning. The staff were fantastic, the lady on the front desk also served our food in the restaurant later that evening. If there was a slight negative, the car park outside had a few boy racers skidding around, but a few... More

I don’t even know how to start this review of Travelodge Fort Dunlop Birmingham. It's so diabolical that I don't think anybody would believe me. However, reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, I think I am amongst friends who understand exactly where I am coming from! We booked this to cater for our needs whilst we visited the NEC over the...
