We recently needed a hotel close to family as we were travelling through Britain and were going to be late arriving and leaving early. The room cost £51 which was very similar in pricing to most of the hotel we stayed. When we drove up the front of the hotel finding where the main entrance was difficult as it was... More

Conveniently situated to where we were going to the next day. Hotel a bit tired and in need of some tlc but this was stated at the time of booking so we knew this. Friendly staff and a clean room. Would return.

After a poor day came here on the off chance of a room. Kelly in reception was extremely helpful on our arrival assisting us in purchasing the correct size of room at the best deal. The room itself was basic and dated with a noisy toilet but again kelly was very friendly and helpful. We stayed an extra night and... More

For a one night stop over visiting friends for a 70th birthday in Erdington this was OK. I think everyone knows what to expect and it it delivered. It was local to where we needed to be and on budget. The reception staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, we didn't do breakfast but I imaagine it would be fine... More

This travel lodge was only selected initially for its nearness to the M6 but on arrival we were impressed with the re-use of an old building. We were very impressed with the super-value breakfast. The staff were also very helpful both at reception and in the cafe.

Hi had to stay here for 5 days whilst training next door to the hotel. The staff bent over backwards to help me and even moved me to a room on the first floor as I was afraid to use a lift. They are really friendly and approachable. The room is clean and tidy and cleaned everyday. The bed is so... More

It's ok to sleep in. You can't complain for what you pay for. In fact it's really good value for sure. I would stay here again. Only downside is the car park is a bit further than expected. It's close to fort shopping centre and easy access to town. Make sure you get a car park voucher if you are... More

Stayed in this Travelodge because we were attending an event at The NEC. Have stayed in many other Travelodge's and never really had any issues. This one seriously let's the Travelodge company down!! It's quite a walk to get into reception from the car park (not convenient when you're 6 months pregnant) we took a lift to our floor, the... More

After reading other reviews I thought I would share our experience of Travelodge Fort Dunlop Birmingham. It's awful!!! And I'm being diplomatic. We booked this to cater for our needs whilst we were at an exhibition nearby I mean what can go wrong with a Travelodge? We have stayed in a few before, and never had any real cause for... More
