We have stayed in many Travelodges so pretty much know what to expect in terms of the room and facilities. We have driven past this hotel on several occasions when driving along the M6. Because of its slightly funky exterior look, being attached to Urban Splash, we decided to give it a go when we went to a concert in... more

Paid £29 per night - bargain. Used it as a base to travel round, particularly handy for Drayton Manor. Typical travelodge in room size and amenities. Whilst staff were very nice I did have to ask 3 times for towels and pillows. Breakfast acceptable if you have kids and they eat free i.e. £14 for a family. £7 for one... more

I booked to stay here for 5 nights whilst I was at the NEC, I also booked for an additional room on the 5th night as the rest of my family came up to stay to start with, it was £29 per room (that slept upto 4) per night - you just can't beat that, added to that if you... more

Friends booked a night at this hotel for our family of three and theirs of four. On the whole the hotel was very clean and comfortable and we were particularly impressed with the need of your room card to access the main part of the building - both lifts were working whilst we were there. The restaurant area was very... more

The rooms were ok and fairly clean - apart from a few stray hairs in the shower. However, breakfast was something else. There were no tables available to sit down so decided to grab some toast and go. When I picked the bread up it was mouldy. I complained to a member of staff who moved the bread, apologised and... more

Stayed for two nights as a family of 4. Room clean and comfortable. Request for extra pillows was dealt with promptly and were delivered to our room whilst we ate our evening meal in hotel. Evening meal menu limited but convenient to eat on site. At 8.15 we seemed to miss the rush at breakfast and found there to be... more

Stayed one night prior to flying out from Birmingham airport, after paying only £25 for the two of us. It was easy to find and there is a huge car park adjacent to the hotel which has 24 hour security. You can park any where and the security person was on hand to inform us of this and direct us... more

Completely agree with what other people have wrote. Basic but clean and comfortable. Car parking was confusing as there was quite a few places to park but no clear indication as to where travelodge parking was. Similarly the main reception area was hard to locate with it being the opposite side of the building to the parking area . AA... more

We spent the night here before a visit to the NEC. Rooms slightly better than previous Travelodge stays as is a newer hotel but pretty much what you would expect from a Travelodge. Found the car park a bit odd - no signs for hotel etc but we found the way up anyway (follow the crowd!). Further to previous posts... more

I stayed in the Travelodge at Birmingham Fort Dunlop on business for one night in October. The hotel is surrounded by building works, however I did not find this at all disturbing. The room was basic & very clean. It's a very new hotel - you can tell by the new carpet smell in the corridors! I paid £26 for... more
