Stayed at this travel lodge on the 30 Nov to the 2 Dec. What a dirty place, toilet seat still had blood on it, the lift was dirty, and for the tables they were so dirty and sticky the plates stuck to them. more

The hotel is on the outskirts of Birmingham which makes it cheaper than the ones in the centre; great of you are driving but difficult to locate otherwise. Although the hotel is very reasonably priced, clean, modern and seemingly in good repair, don’t expect any luxuries! My room was very spacious but lacked ambience. I know it would be regarded... more

I booked this travelodge on the net with the travelodge special deals of £9.00 per night, i have stayed here before, yes it is a basic budge hotel and to be honest if i had to pay the full price, i would not stay there, i would opt to stay at the holiday inn express in castle bromwich, next to... more

Me and my Dad traveled from Liverpool. When we arrived there it was hard to find a parking space that our Car would fit in. When we finally managed to find a space the was no machine for the ticket. We had to ask people where to go. In the hotel it looked dirty and the was no one at... more

I travelled to the hotel with my husband and elderly parents in law (both mid 80's), for whom I has booked a disabled room. The room had a bath, so my mum in law could not use it as it was too high to get her leg over the side. My father in law could not get out as there... more

I booked this hotel as a stop over for a gig at the NEC - I live in London but it was the only date I could see the band. I must confess to being familiar with Birmingham as I used to live there and our house was close to the Fort so I knew the area and the hotel.... more

I understand this was supposed to be a budget hotel but this was taking the biscuit. For the price i paid which was £50 odd quid it was not worth it. Room was very basic and didnt even have air con. I would advise anyone thinking of staying here to go and stay at Purple Rooms just down the road... more

We stayed here for one night in Feb 09 as we needed to be in birmingham early in the morning and we live in southampton. When we arrived car park very confusing and a fair walk to the reception of travel lodge. on arriving had to ring a bell. A rather stern uninterested girl came out and gave us our... more

We needed to stay to attend a funeral locally - so booked at short notice. It cost £71 with breakfast for a double. On arrival (late evening), the welcome was non existent and the young receptionist asked if I was happy to share a double bed with the man next to me in the queue. I thought maybe they had... more

Stayed at the Travelodge at Fort Dunlop last night as we were attending a party at the Fort Dunlop complex. When we arrived there was nobody on reception so had to ring a bell to get someones attention. The receptionist looked like she couldn't be bothered, pointed us in the direction of our room and sent us on our way.... more
