This Travelodge presented itself on its own website as having twin rooms, excellent I thought when staying with a friend. Only to find out when arrival at the hotel they only have double rooms and a crappy thin pull out mattress under the sofa as their "twin" bed. Useless. Toilet seat was broken and loose. The shower was a pathetic... More

Rooms were very basic, old fashioned and cleanliness to a minimum staff were rude and showed no empathy to help customers, poor management and service from staff over all, waited at reception for 10 minutes to be served to find the hotel manager outside having cigarette after cigarette leaving the reception desk empty. I will not be staying at this... More

We were booked in to this hotel for 3 nights. When we arrived we went to check in and there was a horrible stale smell lingering about and we could see bin bags piled up in the staff area of the reception. The staff themselves were pleasant and helpful but the hotel for us just kept getting worse. The hotel... More

Have just returned from this hotel, and it's a great place for a short family break or if you need to go to Birmingham. Located right next to the motorway so into the city centre in 10 mins, there is a bus if you want to leave the car, and its a short trip to all the major attraction. Clean... More

This is travelodge is due to be refurbished and it is overdue. It is dated, poor signposting, not clear on the parking, unwelcoming reception. However, receptionists were helpful. I had room 908, clean, warm, comfortable, everything you need for staying over one night. don't be put off by other posts if you are not staying in your room but need... More

My family and I stayed at Fort Dunlop for a week while my daughter and son in law did a card show in Birmingham. I loved the porthole windows, the nice sized rooms and the view and the wide secure corridors. My 18 month granddaughter liked walking up and down the corridor pointing to all the doors. Door is a...
