Horrible experience. Had booked 4 nights there but had to leave after 2. Never saw anyone at reception, the rooms smelt of years of dirt and body odour, and I didn't see another soul for my whole stay there. The advertised bar was closed. Never again! more

I feel a bit bad complaining as it is cheap for a hotel a short bus ride from the centre of Birmingham, but there really isn't much to say for it. Its like somebody converted their house to a B&B 40 years ago and not a thing has been changed since. Room was fine, just very basic and like everywhere... more

Very basic. The rooms were clean, but the staff otherwise seem largely uninterested in their hotel, to the point of appearing surprised when you ring the doorbell. A 2003 desk calendar wrapped in dirty plastic forms part of the check-in desk. The decor is pretty hilarious 1970s--four poster beds, carpeted bathrooms. It's in a residential area. more
