PROs: Clean, comfy and well situated for the Bullring and the Brindley Square area; handy for lots of restaurants. Once in our room we couldn't hear any noise from the pub downstairs. We would use this hotel again. This was our first visit to Birmingham and we found the people to be very friendly and the prices reasonable. CONs: The... More

we were very surprised how handy this was for the station and town centre, staff were pleasant and helpful. The weatherspoons downstairs was great and cheap. We never heard a sound from either outside or downstairs during our stay. the room/bathroom/towels and bed linen were clean. Only dropped one star because of a musty smell on the lift landing (not... I can't fault the room or the price I paid and it exceeded my expectation. The room was clean and modern, the bed comfortable and the shower powerful. The only downside was the air con / generator noise from outside that was permanently there and couldn't be blocked out even with ear-plugs. Luckily I only stayed one night and the... More

Very nice room, just a couple of minutes walk from the train station. Clean, well appointed and much better than I expected it to be. Very cheap and substantial breakfast in the pub too. Would definitely use again.

Booked the hotel to stay with a friend for a night out in Birmingham, the room was very spacious and clean. This is right in the city centre however is very quiet in the room. The room overlooked a wall of the next building however this only caused the room to be a little dull so a brighter bulb would... More

the hotel was nice and clean staff were friendly and helpful, short walk from train station. we had a front room so it was noisy till about 1:30am when pubs shut and all drunks went home and lorries on road at early hours, would have been more enjoyable if we had a back room. but overall not a bad place.

second time I've stayed at this hotel and I'll stay again. It's a short walk from the train station, just off New Street so great for shopping. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by too. Rooms are comfortable and resonavle for a centre city stay.
