Firstly, I arrived as part of a conference and was allocated a room in the student accommodation which was pleasant enough for what I paid - but nothing to write home about. Thus I cannot accurately comment on the rooms IN the hotel. But my introduction to Conference Aston was unfortunately tainted by my reception on arrival. The gentleman at... More

Single room was just right, convenient, well ventilated, good TV and hot drinks supplied, Good choice of breakfast for vegans and vegetarians, included in price . Staff friendly & helpful, convenient left luggage room . I was attending the Autumn Conference of the National Green Party in the same venue.

Decided to go Birmingham to spend a weekend with friends, however did not want to stay directly in the city centre as I knew I would be getting picked up and dropped off. Booked and stayed this weekend just gone (September the 6th - Saturday 1 night) I called up a few times a few days before to ask general... More

This hotel was excellent, an ideal place to stay when visiting Birmingham. The hotel is modern, superbly clean, the food delicious, and very best of all, the staff are helpful and efficient, and clearly take a pride in their work. We stayed for a conference, and really it could not be bettered. The bar area was relaxing, with good seating,... More

Stayed here for 3 nights during a two day conference. The room was very nice although slightly cold in the mornings. There was a good selection at breakfast. Staff were friendly and always helpful when asking questions.

I was staying at the Hotel as I was attending a Seminar within the grounds so I could park the car and not worry for the weekend. Despite being very busy the staff were helpful. My room was comfortable and clean and I slept well. The bathroom was ideal though small with a glass door and the toilet just behind... More

I stayed here on Saturday night, as I was going to a conference that was also being held within the grounds so it was the perfect place. My room was not ready when I arrived so I got told I could put my bag in the luggage room, when I went to it, it was left wide open and there... More

Second visit here and the staff were again friendly and helpful. It was a warm day so the bedroom was very hot. Could not open the window more than a few inches but a fan was provided. All usual facilities provided and fine for an overnighter. Food was good though the chicken supreme at dinner was bland. Breakfast buffet was... More

It's a little far out from the centre, but a pleasant enough area and 10-15 mins walk from Snow Hill station. It felt very empty and lacking atmosphere on this summer weekend, although it was nice and quiet. Reception was fine and breakfast staff very helpful, and the breakfast meal itself was fine with hot dishes cooked to order in... More
