Visited Birmingham for a weekend away. The hotel is situated in a good location, central but as it is within a campus I found it quieter than other hotels i've stayed in. It was the Easter Holidays so that may have helped not having students around! I used google maps on my phone to check the location when walking from... More

The Aston Conference Centre is an ideal location for staying in the centre of Birmingham, and having a car park nearby is very convenient. However for a 4* rating I found the hotel to be quite basic, the main positives are it is clean and modern. On arrival we had a job identifying the hotel as it is actually called... More

Dear Fay, Thank you very much for taking the time to feedback to us on your recent stay at the hotel; I'm pleased to hear you found the location convenient, but very sorry to hear that other areas of the hotel were not to the standard we would hope to deliver for you. This is certainly not the standard you... More

First off, this place is buried in the Aston University campus, so wasn't that easy to find. Use car park 12 when you do, which is a few minutes walk to the hotel. Which isn't really signed as a hotel. Strange. This place is a 15min walk to the Bullring and everything else Birmingham has to offer. Welcome was non... More

Small room (a single with a slightly larger than average single bed!), but recent, smart furnishings - nice carpet, good bathroom (not just a wet room), adequate towels, nice toiletries, selection of hot drinks, plenty of sockets, a desk and chair. Good temperature, not noisy, felt secure. Free wifi was a bonus! Pleasant, attentive reception, especially when a friend was... More

We stayed here for one night to go to a concert. While the room was pretty basic it was very clean and comfortable. With a proper wardrobe iron and board tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was very good indeed with an excellent shower. The lack of towels was rectified within minutes. Also very quiet so slept really well.... More

Stayed at this hotel for a conference in March 2015. Firstly, the hotel is not that easy to find and is not well signposted. There were lots of delegates due to arrive for our event on the Friday, yet there was only one receptionist to welcome us! The room was adequate, albeit a bit on the small side. In saying... More

I had a superior room. It was relatively small, but sufficient. And very nicely decorated, smart and warm. It was cheaper than a Travelodge or Premier Inn and definitely better quality and more comfortable all round.
