Went to a weekend long conference in Dec 2013 and April 2014 and stayed 2 nights each occasion. Both rooms were same set up/standard, just one was pink and the other was orange. Very very small. Bed too hard. Bathroom very tiny. Shower good but floor gets very slippery and I nearly fell. Did not get any sleep before 3am... More

I've stayed here a few times for work and the first time was great. Every time it seems to have got a little worse for the same price. The most recent time I visited, the bed I got was extremely uncomfortable in a very small, hot room. Opening the windows caused a lot of noise from the air conditioning to... More

Stayed at Conference centre for 2 nights as had to attend Aston University for lectures. Great location as on site. WIFI and adequate room facilities. Clean, comfortable and good food. Helpful staff, access to fully equipped gym on University site and secure parking facilities. I definitely recommend it for a short stay, but can get expensive for what it is... More

I stayed here with colleagues for a conference and I had pretty low expectations for the accommodation. I was impressed, it was nicely decorated and spotless. It was very well heated but it had windows that open which is a bonus and the sound proofing wasn't great but ideal for work. The conference facilities were also good and several exhibitors... More

We booked a conference at the Aston conference centre and a number of us stayed at the conference hotel. The hotel is brilliant, rooms a good size, beds very comfortable, plenty of natural light, work space, free wifi, great bathrooms. Plenty of parking at the weekend. Great breakfast, bar food is as good as any restaurant. And the most helpful... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night whilst visiting Crufts at the NEC. The hotel is easy to fin on foot and in the car but once you get outside it is a bit confusing. The hotel itself doesn't actually say hotel but has a sign saying "business school" We stood outside confused for a few minutes before we... More

The car park is a long walk if its raining and an extra £6! The room service menu is poor. The internet is free but slower than dial up. The restaurant is empty. The lift is out of order. The bar is cold and unwelcoming. The budget rooms are very small, the bigger rooms are fine. The place lacks atmosphere... More

Staying overnight for a conference in room 355. Quite a way to get there, loved the security of the place, using a key to access to floors. Lovely room with refreshments including biscuits, comfy bed, room, free wifi, buffet and full english breakfast. Shower didn't work so had a bath, though couldn't get the plug out. Exceptionally clean, flatscreen tv... More

I was thinking that this would be like a dormitory, but I could not have been more wrong. It was everything a mid price hotel should be and then some.
