Spent a night here on business trip to Aston. Stayed in the older wing but still great room. They have just replaced the hardwire connection in the room with Wifi throughout so easy to keep working and Wifi is included in the price !! Breakfast was best I have had for a very long time at a hotel - bang... more

I stayed here while visiting Aston on Buisness. I find it to be a very upscale and modern decor. I love the outdoor courtyard. I had the 3/4 room (standard), so it is a bit small, but perfectly acceptable for a single person. The bathrooms are also very small but adequate. The full breakfast is very substantial, and the free... more

Had problems getting a saturday night stay as B`ham was busy but landed at the Aston Conference centre. Very new building reception staff were very helpful, checkin was quick and courteous. I only booked a classic room but was upgraded to a superior room. The room was modern contemporary and spotless, Flat tv screen, free internet access, Spacious and big... more

We stayed here on a Saturday night. It wasn't our first choice of hotel but this particular night was booked out hotel-wise in Birmingham centre. The location is about a 10 min walk to the centre (but seems a lot longer when it's cold!) In the evening we got a cab into town which was about £5. I think we... more

Went for a weekend with my very fussy partner. Booked a double room with a super dupa breakfast as opposed to normal breakfast. There was parking, you are admitted at the car park by announcing your arrival at the barrier. There was ample space when I was there on the weekend. On arriving in this high tech loking building. We... more

We stayed here as we were attending a podcamp conference partly hosted at the hotel. A bit tricky to find given Birmingham's road system. (its just behind the white stone central fire station, but the entrance is through the university campus road ). We got a special rate via the event booking, would be twice the price normally. Not much... more

Good sized rooms, but could do with air-con! Not enough lifts and no carparks nearby...when you're a business traveller with a week's worth of luggage, plus briefcase and laptop, it becomes a bit of a trek! However, restaurant was lovely and staff were friendly. Overall, good value for money and great location. more

Found this via laterooms at £60 per room B&B. Just completed new block of 80 rooms-which are reasonable size, have flat screen TV, large wardrobe space, safe (no charge) plenty of power points, hairdryer, tea/coffee, towels/toiletries etc., Very modern & comfortable. Easy check in facs and lifts adjacent to check in. Breakfast was good choice (remember this is only £60... more
