What a s**t hole!!! Worst stay ever!! Staff were really unfriendly and didn't seem to bother. Had 2 pay on arrival although I thought I already paid on website, turned out they took £250 more out of my bank then they should have, (the room was £50 4 1 night that's all we wanted) when rang up to ask bout... When I saw this was a 3-star hotel and it seemed like a good deal I immediately booked for 3-nights...what a big mistake. When I checked in that evening I thought it would be a breeze, there were 2 "receptionists" who looked like they can't be bothered with people checking in:the pregnant one was taking her time w/ whatever it was... Stayed in this 'hotel' if you can call it that for one night and that was bad enough! As soon as I walked through the front door to reception I got told I had to wait to be seen as someone had just smashed there windows and there was glass everywhere, finally got my room key and the lifts didn't... We stayed here on a Saturday evening after visiting the markets and I have never stayed anywhere like it. On initial entry it didn't seem too bad but be warned...as soon as you go in the lift you enter what looks like a perfect venue for a horror movie. Staff were rude and totally unhelpful with no sense of customer... More

Do not stay here! Under no circumstances stay here! It is appalling absolutely terrible. Dumb and dumber on the desks were too interested in applying their lip gloss. Our room was disgusting, blood stain on one of the beds, carpets completely stained, bathroom was unusuable. Me and my friend went and bought dettol wipes and fabreeze and with one wipe... More

I had asked for the best room which they had to which they gave me a room which had been refurbished with mould on the walls paint falling off hair in my bed sheets! The hall way has dirt all up the wall to which could only be described as human faeces, the locks on the bedroom you could have... More

The hotel was a complete waste of money: the receptionists were rude, they placed us in the wrong room, the shower and light was broken, and the walls were extremely thin! I do not recommend this hotel!

Area horrible, misleading photos on the website, receptionist staff very unprofessional and unwelcoming. Lobby was nice, but the corridors were like a prison, and the rooms was disgusting small, dirty and in need of refurbishment, bathroom was disgusting to the point of myself and my friend wouldn't use the shower and has no choice but to use the toilet, would... Having been to the paragon last year on a Christmas party night with work, myself and 2 friends decided to stay the night this year as our party was here again. What a mistake. On arrival the marble floor looks impressive and that is where the 3 star rating ends. I've never stayed in such a disgusting dog hole of... More

Writing this review from my hotel bed, on the first floor. I cannot sleep as there is some sort of 'do' on downstairs which is so loud, I may as well be down there. Staff were unwelcoming when we arrived. Lobby is ok though. Corridors to rooms are disgusting, and desperately need hoovering. Room is small, but the bed was... More
