I had meetings in the Jewelry Quarter and Brindley place, and this hotel was ideally placed between both. The check in was warm and helpful with club status reconised. The room did the job and the shower was good but you do have to make sure the towel curtain is inside. Bed was comfortable. The room rate was good for... More

Stayed a night here recently having got the room for £37 reduced from £89. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. The bed was comfy and i had a decent nights sleep. The breakfast was a continental and there were all the usual choices, this was included in the price. The service was excellent and all of the staff were... More

The location is not really downtown, but close enough to various restaurants and bars. The staff is very friendly. The rooms of the hotel are clean, the beds are good but have very firm mattresses. There is a strange bathroom / toilet door in the room where the bathroom door can be closed even further and function as the toilet... More

Stayed here on. Business, good location, friendly staff, room clean though shower water pressure was poor. Wifi intermittent. Breakfast offer is ok, nothing amazing. So as described generally ok. If you need to stay in Birmingham on a business budget this ticks the boxes.

Nice location a small 10 minute walking distance both from the train station and ICC, few blocks out from the walking center. Breakfast was pretty basic and boring though. Everything went smooth, and the room was big, quiet and comfortable.

It's a great hotel in a great location near to Birmingham New Street station and near to the Jewellery district. Our second stay this year. The rooms are always clean and tidy. It wasn't quite as high quality staff as last time though, I think because they were very busy. The breakfast food was lacking freshness, no orange juice in... More

So here's my story. I was on business, and my hotel bookings get done for me by my employer. (They look at the post code of where I will be working the next day and then book the nearest). I had been working all day in Birmingham and then I wandered over and found that I was staying in an... More

Booked a 3 night stay, in a family room. 2 adults, 1 toddler. Arrived on Thursday afternoon, check in was quick, given a map of the area, left to find the room ourselves/no offer to help with bags. Previously informed disabled bays but these had cones blocking them so had a longer walk to the lift than expected. We found... More

I have stayed in Ibis hotels across Europe on many occasions for many years and this is first time I have ever had cause to complain about the service received and standard of accommodation in an Ibis hotel We were given a room for mobility impaired guests and when asked at reception why as we are able bodied, we were... A basic but fairly comfortable hotel which was fine for a couple of days. Staff were welcoming and the rooms themselves clean and in reasonable condition. The lock on my room door was faulty, which resulted in reception having to accompany me to the room each time to gain access. Late on the day 2 I was moved but by... More
