Good location if you are attending any event at the NEC. Plenty of parking. Fairly long walk from to the reception. Rooms are compact but spotlessly clean. Bottled water provided. Small chocolates were also a nice touch. I found their bed to be a bit firm but then again it is my own personal preference. Will return to this hotel... More

Tend to stay at the NEC Crown Plaza twice a year when we vibist moda. Never had any issues, easy free car parking, courtesy bus or short stroll to the exhibition centre. Usually do the show on Sunday and then stay overnight as the traffic issue both ways is better as we travel from Essex. Good comfy double room, very nice... More

After staying at the Crowne Plazza near the NIA and having a good stay we decided to try this one out as we had an event at the NEC. What a perfect location! We missed all the parking queues and drove past it all to go straight into the hotel. We parked easily and went straight to the NEC, which... More

Good hotel with some amenities- double rooms very spacious and comfortable - beds beautifully made with crisp white linens and good quality pillows. Breakfast good fresh selection- The only downside was that my bath leaked so that when I went into the room having had a bath/shower the carpet was horribly wet - it was also wet surrounding the wall... Conveniently located for the NEC, Genting Arena and the airport with easy access to Birmingham City centre via Birmingham International train station. We stayed for one night and found our room to be very comfortable and well equipped. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and could find no fault with either, both being extremely well made and... More

Ok so I stayed here recently and yes I have to admit the hotel and room was lovely but I stayed there with friends through a national holiday mystery tour and I felt the hotel treated us like second class customers. The evening meal was dreadful absolutely awful. And we weren't allowed breskfast like everyone else we were sat away... More

Stayed a night before a show at the NEC and the hotel and staff were infinitely better than anticipated. Reception and bar staff were all very helpful and chatty. Room was comfortable and perfectly adequate. The room service breakfast was excellent. Ate in the bar and though there is not a wide choice the food was fresh and good. Excellently... More

My wife and I stayed last weekend in room 134, if you are given this room to stay in expect no sleep, as your room is above the plant room. The room itself was pleasant as expected the problems arose when we both went to sleep, my wife asked why I hadn't turned off the air conditioning, which I assured... More

Well placed for the NEC. Ten minute walk. Nice surroundings. Hotel and staff well up to the IHG standard. Only downside.........be aware of the £10 overnight parking charge on checkout even if the barrier is up.
