I stayed her for 3 nights to attend a course at Birmingham University. The experience was much better than anticipated, as I foolishly read the negative reviews before I stayed. The staff in reception and the restaurant were excellent, could not fault them. The food was typical of this type of hotel, good value, plentiful and good quality, I was... more

Great hotel for central location. Ten mins walk to the Bullring and all shops, mins away from the bars/restaurants and clubs. ten mins walk from Birmingham new street train station, ten mins train journey from New street to the NEC. Would not recomend for a quiet break as it was noisy, but great for a lively weekend. Hotel was a... more

Although we arrived a little early on the Saturday lunchtime the young lady behind reception (who seemed to be glued to her chair) allocated us a room on the second floor overlooking the car park – not the best of views but we had places to be and folk to meet so an intresting view was not high on our... more

Stayed here for a weekend as we were watching the Temptations on the Friday evening at the Symphony, Hotel is in a great location for Broad Street and all the bars and not far to the shops, lovely walk along the canal which runs at the back of the hotel. Room was on the small side but comfortable and clean.... more

This hotel is very conveniently situated for all things in the city centre and Broad Street. Some reviews mention noise, but in October with the windows closed we all heard nothing. The rooms are quite small with just about enough room to walk round the bed. Sound proofing between rooms could be better. However it was clean and ok if... more

The room was tiny and claustaphobic. A friend of mine and I were going to share, but the twin beds were touching and too close for comfort for me or her, so we ended up paying for separate rooms. It was near the train station, so there was the constant distant noise of the trains. I could hear people taking... more

Overall, this hotel is typical of a Premier Inn - basic but comfortable. I stayed in this hotel for a conference at the ICC/NIA in June 08. Hotel is perfect location for these venues - only 5 minute walk. Room was adequate - clean with a very large comfortable bed, but not much space for anything else. Room got very... more
