Hotel La Tour (HLT) is slightly dearer than the Premier Inn hotels I also considered in Birmingham, but more luxurious and overall better value if you stay as part of an offer. When I called to update my reservation, the staff member gave us a City Break offer (that I wasn't aware of) where our 2 night stay was discounted... More

We had stayed before and enjoyed our stay so it was the natural choice for our return visit. We arrived and were welcomed by Trey on reception, allocated room 433 and off we went. The room when we arrived was very warm and so we set the A/c to low and nothing, it certainly wasn't cooling the room. We called... More

My wife and I stayed at La Tour Birmingham for a Saturday night so we could enjoy the delights of Birmingham Broad Street. The hotel is about a mile from Broad Street but that helps to make it a quiet and restful location. The Bull Ring is 400 metres from the hotel so nice and close for shopping trips and... More

The hotel is well designed and has a nice contemporary feel to it. The whole place is very clean and is in a reasonable location for the city centre. The Bull Ring shopping centre is about 15 mins walk. What impressed my wife and I the most was the Staff, they were all very friendly and helpful. When we arrived... More

Great hotel right in the center of Birmingham. Very modern with some very impressive gadgetry in the rooms. The room for disabled access was very well fitted. Main restaurant meal extremely good for a large hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. A little noisy from traffic.

Chose hotel because of its closeness to Moor Street Station! Arrived at about mid-day, warmly and efficiently welcomed by reception staff and although well before check-in time, immediately allocated our room. Good sized twin room (2'6"beds :-[[) however they were very comfortable! Lovely bathroom with plenty of beautifully soft towels and also an extremely efficient hairdryer. Excellent walk in shower... We visited Hotel La Tour as a last minute night away. Very efficient check in, a lovely modern, clean hotel with lots of high tech features. Great location with easy access to the train station, bullring shopping centre, mailbox etc all within easy walking distance. Wonderful hot breakfast with a good selection of food. All staff extremely pleasant and friendly... More

I had booked an over night stay for my partners birthday in a standard room. I then emailed the hotel requesting a view of the city, they told me that the standard rooms only over look either the car park, or the garden & that the only rooms that over look the city are executive rooms & it would be... This hotel,is very high tech and clean throughout. Had a lovely stay here but the rooms are a little on the small side. We had an executive room but expected a little bit more space. Other than that it was lovely. Breakfast was as expected for a hotel of this type, but have had better. Would recommend as a good... More

My second visit to this stylish hotel for afternoon tea. Cannot fault the afternoon. Becks was attentive to all of our needs and went out of her way to ensure that we were happy. The selection of sandwiches, scones and sweet treats was brilliant. The ambience and atompshere were first class. All of the staff looked extremely smart in their... More
