Stayed here with my boyfriend for a visit to Brum and really, can't say anything bad.The location was perfect. Close to all the shops,China Town and easy enough to get to the station. The noise from various buses on the road outside was pretty noticeable as was the noise from the various drunks and crazies in the park outside but the window... the noise inside the hotel was unbearable, there was a party in the room above with lots of stamping and music and shouting til midnight that fell loudly back into the room at 4.30am, the room below had music and shouting til 11.30. There was alot of external noise also but this was expected because of the central location. The... More

Room was very clean, bed was comfy - plenty of plugs and a full length mirror. Room was small but it is what you expect from a city central location. Location excellent - a 1 minute walk to Moor Street Station, 10 minute walk to New Street Station. Very close to lots of lovely places for breakfast (breakfast not available... More

Ok, yes it ’s a Travelodge and therefore indistinguishable from any other Travelodge. I passed on the opportunity of a so called ‘breakfast box’ this time. It was very convenient for my meeting location and pretty close to Birmingham New Street Station so those were plus points. I had a pretty good view from my window. Otherwise nothing to recommend... I recently went to Birmingham on business and stayed as I have done before at this Travelodge. Ideally situated, it is great if you have been travelling a long distance- I had come up from Brighton- and need to get swiftly from either Moor Street or New Street stations. I was very tired upon arrival and it was late. I... More

Stayed here whilst staying in Birmingham. It is in a good central location, it is close to the bullring as well as New Street and Moor street station. The rooms are pretty basic but the bed is comfy and there is a shower and TV. We stayed when the whether was quite warm so it would have been great to... More

This hotel was superbly located, immediately accessible from the train station just a few yards away and close to a bus route which I needed. It is also right in the main shopping area. However the area is a little intimidating at night and felt a bit unsafe. The hotel though was fine and very quiet inside. There was a... More

Stayed here for a business trip and it was fairly good just very basic. The central location is good but a pain to find parking. The price per room versus quality of hotel is about right so can't complain. Recommend to people on one night stays or on a strict budget.

Had 2 nights in this hotel and got given a room on the fourth floor. Firstly the good points - nice size room, nice bathroom, great views. Bad points -very narrow uncomfortable beds and NO air conditioning which was a pain as it was very hot when I stayed (they did provide a fan which helped a bit). Other than... More

I've stayed here a few times on business now, and I really like it. Great budget hotel, in a fantastic location. There is a supermarket right underneath open until late, and a cash point right outside the hotel. This travel lodge doesn't do breakfast however I would highly recommend the The Square Peg, just around the corner, they do an... More
