My 83 year old mother is staying there alone for 3 nights,paid for bed and breakfast, when she came down for breakfast, dining room was locked with a note on door 'no breakfasr will be served 19th and 20th September.' She was not told anything when checked in on 18th! Now there is no staff to be seen,surprise,surprise. more
My stay was great. ok the style of service isdifferent than the normal hotel as they leave you alone to get on with it. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, because of the good prices and relative closeness to the city center... but this stay will be my last. At one point in the evening, another hotel guest got confused and thought my room was his...and his key WORKED IN THE LOCK!! He actually stepped in, apologized, and rushed... more
A friend and I stayed for one night at this hotel and were happy to be leaving the following morning. We weren't looking for anything fancy, and didn't mind the fact that the Hagley Court is a bit shabby and worn around the edges. We just wanted somewhere clean and reasonably inexpensive to stay, and the Hagley Court fit both... more
