Stayed here for two nights, shopping/sightseeing. Short, easy walk from New St. station, fast check-in by friendly efficient staff, pleasant enough room in the slightly Spartan/trendy style, impressive view over the city. No bath but very pleasant shower. Slightly noisy a/c. Free wifi. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice in the top-floor restaurant, also with stunning views. Restaurant staff... More

There's lots like about Indigo, great location, fantastic views (particularly from the restaurant), spacious rooms, comfortable beds, decent equipment in the rooms, very funky architecture and very comfortable complimentary robes. There isn't much not to like, but it is a little bit soulless, the pool is quite small...that's about it really.

I stayed in this hotel for one night. I had the balcony room. The room was large and very luxurious. I really enjoyed the view over the city. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. I had a good night sleep. We had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel, the food was delicious and the service splendid. The standard... More

I have used Indigo hotels before and I have found them to be a real star in the Intercontinental Group of Hotels. Indigo Birmingham should be, but was a let down in a number of areas. Location is great - not easy to drive to as it involves a number on one way roads and my satnav struggled. Very central.... More

Stayed on a Saturday night with my wife on a rare night off from being parents, it was a last minute decision to stay in Birmingham for the night, due to the proximity to Christmas many hotels were full and we paid well over the odds for the room. Had a pleasant evening out but when we returned to our... More

Check in was slow but the automated car park is a real technological wow. Room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Enjoyed the bar on the top floor with great views and expensive drinks. Great location with many restaurants and bars nearby.

I've stayed here on a couple of occasions whilst on nights out in Birmingham. booked via late rooms and got a good rate for a Sunday night that includes breakfast this is essential as the breakfast can be as much as £18 PP in the MPW restaurant. Check in was a bit painful ( again) as front of house staff... More

My daughter and I stayed here last Friday.a beautiful hotel just 10 to 15 mins walk from central Birmingham train stations. Views are wonderful. The rooms are modern with complimentary items in the fridge. The spa and pool have a fantastic ambience. Free hot drinks in the spa lounge all day. Unfortunately Marco Pierre white restaurant was closed for a... More

As I work in Birmingham we decided to make the most of a bit of wining and dining and some Christmas shopping. I walk past The Cube on a daily basis to get to the office... nice looking building, so why not try the Indigo Hotel at the same location? The hotel lobby isn't well sign-posted and it isn't much... So far as location goes this is as good as it gets in Birmingham. Short walk to the shopping centres, bars and restaurants. For the price, I thought the rooms should have been better but they were ok and you get a great view. Not sure id go back at this price unless I found a good offer.
