My wife and i booked her 50th birthday party at this hotel, 12 months in advance, over the course of the 12 months leading up to the party date, i think we dealt with 3/4 different people who were handling the party, i also booked 6 bedrooms for my family and i would guess at least another 12 were booked... more

My experience has not been a good one at all. On arrival it appeared the hotel had recently been refurbished with a nicely decorated bar and restaurant. However, the bar and restaurant staff were so abrupt and unfriendly it was almost funny, telling us with no apology that we 'had to wait' for our drinks as they had run out of glasses, overcooked food being taken away with no replacement...... more

Luke warm meals, staff not very friendly, no heating in the bedroom - thank you for ruining my Christmas break. There is absolutely no way I would ever consider staying here again, nor would I recommend it, even for one night. more

I had the misfortune to spend a cold and wet night here in November, whilst on business. Stayed new years eve,got a fantastic rate of £60 b&b,so cant really complain, but the hotel rooms are in need of a facelift with wallpaper peeling off in bathroom,and a bed that` had seen much better days. Breakfast was ok,but the sausages tasted off. Staff ok, but not impressed overall. more
