Great venue. Very friendly staff with the right facilities for a budget night stay. Easy walking distance from bullring. The only thing I would say is to bring your own extension plug as wall plugs are limited. Hair dryer is available in the room.

This hotel has the added benefit of including live insects with your coffee. I couldn't make out their species, but if you look around the coffee machine you should find them. I only had food poisoning once though, after the chicken was near raw on the Caesar salad. I could go on, but just want to point out that this... More

Stayed here for one night, and if I was desperate I would stay here again, however given the local completion and their offerings, I would go somewhere else. For 56 quid including breakfast, you don't expect much, but you can definitely get more for your money. Bed comfortable, just. Bathroom transported me back to my childhood staying at my grandma's... The hotel is set out of the city and in common with many Campaniles is on an "industrial estate". The surroundings are pleasant enough and the accommodation is fine with minor niggles. The bed was comfortable with spotless duvet but was on wheels so that it slid away from the wall if reading in bed. The bathroom had been freshened... More

First off the bedsit which is what its best described as is on an industrial estate next to a busy ring road with nothing apart from business units surrounding it. I checked in and went to my room , first impressions were confusing as I had a fold down off the wall bed which was broken and filthy dirty with... More

The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was in a good state. Were it not for the following issues, I would have given it 4/5. - They advertise free wifi, but actually you have to pay for it. - Our card would not work the first day, we had to go up and down... Just stayed at the campinele Birmingham, yes it's cheap but just to pre warn guests they have 2 misleading banners at the hotel - first is the giant banner on the building advertising free wifi - when it is £3 per 34 hours. Also that on Mondays you get a free starter or desert with a main meal - this... More

Paid £39 to stay here and you certainly get what you pay for. Room was basic but bed was quite comfortable. Shower room was horrible and full of mould. Smelt bad and it might have been cleaner to stay dirty. Room was #26 and at the end of the corridor. This is where the cleaners work. So at 8am on... More
