My take on Campanile is that it is a budget hotel competing with Travelodge and Premier Inn. The Birmingham Campanile has a charm to it, located by a canal, providing a nice view from the bedroom. Spent two nights here a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised. Rooms are a bit basic but clean and functional. The restaurant is very good, the prices cheap and access to central Birmingham is about 5 mins by taxi. A good base for a city break I'd say. more
