Booked up for one night as I was meeting friends for food and drinks in the town centre. Didn't expect much from the room as it was a cheap booking. It did the job for the night though. The room was a bit tired and could have done with being updated and having a bit of TLC but it was... More

This hotel is hands down the worst I have EVER stayed in. Me and my fiancé travel a lot and frequently stay in hotels both chain and independent on weekends. This was without a doubt our worst night, I didn't even want to give it any rating. Firstly we arrived after a sport tournament on Saturday to enjoy a restful... More

The photos suggested a quiet hotel overlooking a canal......yes, there was a canal but it felt like it was in an industrial estate. Inside the decor was tired and cheap and predominantly grey?! Room was basic but the surprise was the food, the evening meal was very impressive and just about saved the campanile from scoring a 1.

Quiet place and nice people, good for a rest after a busy day. You get clean room, good food, I can even recommend the grill. Haven't been much around the place, but you can find a Tesco express walking through the Ashton's University Park, and I think it could be a nice walk on a sunny day

Nice Hotel ....impressed by price paid, across the other side of the city at Aston but if you like walking a stroll down the canal to the city is brilliant. So much to see of the old black country, some parts could do with modernising but hey ho that's how it was, we passed 3 narrow boats going through at... More

My friend and I payed 39 pounds for a twin room. For the price we wad really happy. The rooms were clean and the bathroom of good standard. The location is good and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The only downside was not enough plug sockets in the room. We found 2 but in very silly places. Apart... More

This hotel is very dirty and unhygienic, black mould and hairs everywhere in the bathroom. After complaining to reception we were not offered another room or for them to even have a look. Me and my friend left £60 down because it was unbearable. The manager is shockingly rude and couldn't even be bothered to get off his chair and... More

I stayed here for one night with my company and heard it was awful. It was very modern and the staff were friendly. The food was done quick and wasn't greasey. Lots for your money and a good choice. I couldn't hear anything at night, I slept like a baby. Would happily stay again, but don't think I would need... More
