We stayed in Birmingham to go to a concert and chose the hotel for price and location. On checking in, the receptionist tried to offer my husband a separate room and looked shocked when we said we only needed one. Stayed here for 3 nights in early October 2009. Nice room on 11th floor which always seemed cold regardless of how much I turned up room stat. Even though I was on 11th floor I could hear people and vehicles on street below, I and my colleagues in other rooms were all woken by cars sounding their horns between 3am... more

The good thing about this hotel is its location near the ICC. That and the bar area. Stayed here several times and it's probably the best buy if you're in birmingham for a conference at the icc. This hotel is situated in the ideal location for most people who visit. Shopping, Nightlife, NEC and those who want to go to the football. There are lots of deals around so look about before booking. Rooms are clean, without being plush. The hotel is huge and very busy. No leisure facilities available. more

We had an overnight stay on a weekend break. Loved my room with all that space, it was great. Really liked my evening meal and wine. Staff were very efficient and the restaurant and bar were very comfortable. Would love to stay again! more
