This is a huge hotel in the centre of Birmingham, taxis and bus stops just in front of the hotel, and may restaurants and bars nearby. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Airco worked well during the ridiculously hot day I stayed there. The shower over the bad was not very comfortable though because of handle bar someone installed at... more

Very large city centre hotel. Well placed for Brindleyplace. Impersonal but staff OK. Stay at top of hotel if you want to avoid noise from street level - there are many busy bars along Broad St. more

Had an overnight stay here en route to Scotland. Booked through last minute and got a really good deal with breakfast included. The car park was very reasonable at only £10.90 for 20 hour stay. Arrived before noon but were checked in no problem. Reception staff efficient and welcoming. Room large and airy and very clean and comfortable. It was... more

I stayed here for several nights last week, and checked the day after a colleague of mine who advised me to ensure I got a quiet room at the back of the hotel. She had been in one of the rooms right at the front with 6 large (and apparently not double glazed) windows overlooking Broad Street and directly opposite... more

Walked into a nice big room on the 14th floor, great views! However came 20:00 til ..... VERY NOISY outside, traffic light pedestrian noise, and to top it all the lift next to my room foing up and down every 3 min. Parking expensive Cheap rate, just make sure you get a room at the back more

Well priced hotel, well located, above average for a budget hotel. However, the late night/early morning noise was awful, even from the 14th floor. There is a busy taxi rank next to the hotel, with rowdy revellers shouting until the small hours - even on a Wednesday. If you stay here, ask for a room on the west side of... more

Large room, with basic requirements, but comfortable and quiet with views all around the city landscapes. Breakfast and other meals chaotic, as this is a self-service arrangement. Quality poor. more

Paid approx £120 for 2 nights stay for a weekend away. The reception is very nice and check in was good, the staff were really helpful. The room its self was OK 2 large beds, flat screen TV and tea and coffee making. We found the room was cold and could not seem to change the heating. \the bathrooms are... more

I stayed here with my mum for a show at the end of April 2009 and I really couldn’t find any major faults with this place. We got an excellent rate including breakfast which made things even better and great value for money. Upon arrival they kept our bags as it was too early to check in, which is always... more

Stayed here for one night as going to a concert. Hotel is ideally situated to walk to a multitude of sights. A map with these marked is free to pick up at reception. staff were very welcoming at check in, which was efficient even though they were inundated. Key cards were given to both of us..much better than having to... more
