Having visited this hotel last year when passing on business, we weren't particularly impressed to say the least. Unfortunately (or so we thought) we were booked in there again, but what a difference! The site has recently had a new manager and he has made some excellent changes. The hotel has recently been refurbished and the rooms are a lot... more

This hotel is a standard motorway hotel. As will all Travelodge hotels, it is clean & more than adequate for a night or two. It is a little frayed around the edges but for the prices you pay for these places, I don't find that a problem. Handy for Worcester and Birmingham. I used it for an overnight stop when... more

We were lucky to get one of the Super Save deals - 3 nights at £15 each. From Canada that's only a total of $105 for all 3 nights - that can't be beaten even at home. There were four of us - 2 adults and our 2 children. Had plenty of room for all of us. The couch turned... more

A standard travel lodge - this place is getting a bit dowdy and is ready for a freshen maybe. I had to ask for another towel and there were only 3 pillows in the room for two of us. Plenty of hot water though and TV. Local pub within walking distance from the back of the services and you can... more

I have used the Frankley Travelodge about ten times in the past year and it has always represented good value for money through booking ahead on the website. It provided clean comfortable accommodation and the staff on reception are unfailingly courteous and helpful. It is generally quiet and noise does not seem to travel. Some rooms could do with a... more

I booked this hotel because of it's locality and because it would be easy to find (Birmingham to me seems like a maze, once your in you can't get out!). I booked online and paid only £26.00 per night. We were only 1 adult and 2 children, but the room could have accommodated one more. We found it to be... more

We stayed here for one evening on the way back down from Alton towers. The room was fine for what we needed. It was clean and tidy Had bath/shower and tv. Big comfy bed and a pull out sofa bed too. Free parking. No restaurant within travelodge but there was a little chef in the nearby services. Fine for an... more

Stayed here for a weekend in a family room (2 adults and 2 children). Used the room as a base to go to Cadbury World (25 minutes drive away) and venture into Birmingham. Room we stayed in had been refurbished in the corporate style but the bathroom didnt seem to have been updated (old tiles). On the whole staff were... more

Stayed in family room here as every where else was full booked. Situated in motorway service area. Rooms could do with some refurbishment. If going back into Birmingham city centre, you will have to drive to the next exit to turn back to rejoin northbound. This really is the sort of hotel to stay in if you are tired and... more
