We use Travelodge several times a year and this one was a let down! Upon entering our room, there was a damp musty odour, bathroom was filthy, hairs in the bath and even a dead fly in two of our mugs!

The Receptionist was busy reading her book and barely glanced at me when handing me my key. The hotel smelt musty and unaired. The room smelt of vomit and cleaning materials. The pillow was dirty. Not a pleasant experience.

Stayed overnight on a trip to Cornwall. We arrived fairly late but the check-in was quick and painless. The hotel needs renovating as it is all very tired and dirty looking, although the room was just acceptable. There is secondary glazing to reduce the traffic noise from the motorway, but on a very warm evening the room was too warm,... More

The Travelodge was easy to find and there was plenty of parking, which was adjacent to the Travelodge and was free. The room was clean and comfortable and was of a generous size. For two of us the price was about half what we would have had to pay in a bed and breakfast establishment. Great value for money.

The place is in desperate need of refurbishment and although I usually find travelodge staff friendly and welcoming, this experience was dire. The receptionist must have been having a bad day which I'm sorry for her, but there was no need to take her anger out on me. Apathy towards customer service is a terrible thing. I wasn't expecting bells... More

This lodge may be on the motorway system but it's quite and the reception staff are 1st rate nothing is to much trouble for them,.there is plenty of parking a few steps from the main entrance and you have the motorway service across the driveway should you need them.

room absolutely stank of cigarettes, even after going out for dinner and leaving the window open for an hour, the patchy walls looked like someone had started to paint them and stopped half way, you could feel the springs in the bed and it sagged in the middle so we kept falling into each other, no air con so we...
