Even for a budget room this was below standard. The things you DON'T get....remote for tv, bathmat, ironing board to go with the iron I borrowed, phone to call reception and initially I was told there were no spare quilts for me to protect me from back pain caused by a hard bed. Once I gave my reason I was... More

This is your standard, soulless Travelodge. The staff are friendly, and keep it clean, but it's a real human storage unit. No radio, only TV, no fridge, no proper breakfast, and loud drunk people in and out of the hotel. Try not using the pillows at all, as you will wake up crooked. The location and staff are the advantages... More

Stayed there for a local event. No problems with the hotel itself, but the noise from outside was awful. General street noise until about 3am, emergency service sirens off and on throughout the night, and then street cleaning from about 6am. Take earplugs! They should offer a discount for noisy rooms.

I booked a room at this hotel for its close proximity to the NIA where I was catching a show. I was allocated a room at the back and thankfully there was little noise. the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom adequate for my needs. I didn't bother with the breakfast box which was basically just a croissant and... More

Simply go elsewhere it's worth every penny. This place is like Wild West bordello. The rooms are shall we say adequate but the guests and the way they are handled is a disgrace. The racket is bad enough starting around 11.30 and continuing through 4.00am including fights and fire alarm activation being completely ignored by the night 'security' staff! I... More

We booked to be close to The Rep. It was 5 minutes walk. It offered a breakfast box,we have had it before & we weren't impressed. We knew there were plenty of places to eat. We automatically booked in and were offered another room,as they thought the one we had been allocated would be too noisy,we were impressed. The room,as... More

Spacious room and hassle free check in but was met with a horrible smell in the room. Dirty bathroom, stains on the carpet. But worst of all was the horrendous noise coming from the corridor throughout the night. If I'd have known the hotel was next door to a pub I definitely wouldn't have booked! Rowdiness outside the window continued... More

Well situated in the main street in Birmingham with easy access to all clubs, pubs, restaurants as well as the ICC and NIA. Very clean hotel and rooms are spacious with king sized beds which are very comfortable. Also you do not have to use the door fob to activate the electric in the room

There were 4 people in our party and we had an enjoyable stay for two nights. The hotel staff welcomed us on arrival and checkout. They were very friendly and helpful. Central location for Broad Street. Would stay there again.

This stay is the reason I will not use travelodges again. Booked here for the central location to attend a concert. Room was small and very basic. We had to request a hand towel as nothing was left for us to use. Room was on the front of the hotel and the windows were broken which meant the room was... More
