I absolutely hate Travelodges. Drab, dreary, ultra basic. I would never stay in one out of choice and the only reason I chose this one was the price.£47 in central Birmingham in the summer! I must say though that my opinion has softened since staying at this one. The staff were friendly and helpful and check in was a doddle.... More

The location of the this travelodge is great, very central. I was pleasantly surprised that we were not disturbed in the night and had a great nights sleep. The price was brilliant also, we stayed in a room for 3 and we each paid only £14, the room was clean had all you needed for a night stay with plenty... More

All is as you would expect from Travelodge (as you can see from the ratings below - Sleep quality 1 star has nothing to do with the bed etc, just the non stop noise), but had no idea about Broad St, Birmingham (yes I should have looked into it before booking possibly?) Outside the hotel is every nut house in... More

Hen weekend, there were 15 of us, 3 to a room. So one double bed and 2 single beds in each room, still loadsof space. Our room was clean and bright, the new decor is fresh and basic. No frills, no hairdryer but plenty of towels and tea bags. Loads of hanging space. This hotel was really close to the... More

Room was clean, much bigger than expected, exactly what we needed & bed linen was great - a fantastic night sleep. All staff that we came across were friendly and polite. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area and will recommended the hotel to anybody!

Really pleases me to say the upgrades in this hotel have worked in comparison to the last time I used one closer to home. Easy to book, clean and fresh and great value. Location is brilliant for Broad St, NIA and ICC.

I booked well in advance and got this well located hotel for just £26. It is one of the recently refurbed Travelodges and very comfortable it was too. If you're visiting Birmingham and don't want to be too far from the night out spots and restaurants, this hotel is for you.

Travelodge hotels give you exactly what it says on the tin, if you are looking for a spacious room, large comfy bed, and good size bathroom, this is place for you, all on a budget as well. TL Broad St is ideally placed for the many bars, restaurants and venues in this part of Birmingham. I would thoroughly recommend a... More

We stayed here for 1 night while attending a concert at nia. It was only a few mins walk so was ideal. Good location for the bars in the area too and only a short walk to the centre itself. We were on the 5th floor to the rear of the building and could hear cars driving round, wasn't too... More
