My wife and I were really looking forward to staying at this hotel on Saturday 13th December after our works Christmas party, but after 2 room changes, and rude staff checked out without even spending the night. It is an extremely tired hotel, in need of major renovations. The carpets were so dirty we couldn't take our shoes off, the... More

Stayed here on Wednesday night the hotel is very tired, the room a dirtyand the bathrooms need to removed and new bathrooms installed. The staff were friendly, however the Chef was very rude to a young waitress and shout at her and everyone heard him. He called her a stupid Cow. I really don't want to hear that when I... More

I've stayed at Ramada hotels before and, whilst they're not brilliant, they are normally clean, tidy and reasonably priced. Well, considering the large stain on the carpet in my room (approx 18 inches round - somoeone must have spilt coffee or something in the past), the strong smell of smoke (it was a non-smoking room) and the awful decor (patched... Central hotel, loads of bars and restaurants nearby - 10 mins to New Street & Bull Ring so perfect location. I was there on a Monday and all was quiet but I wonder if could be noisier at the weekend or in the summer? Efficient check in and very friendly staff Room pleasant with great views over the canals and... More

Nice and clean generally. Good location for city centre. Spacious rooms. Good value for money. We did not eat at the hotel but there is a Starbucks there and a restaurant at the hotel. Plenty of places to eat and drink in the mailbox and surrounding area.

We had 3 rooms booked through the company for a night out at the mailbox. The hotel is ideally placed for what we wanted. Unfortunately once your past the check in desk it goes downhill very fast. Once we reached the 4th floor we found that the Carpets stained, threadbare and taped to the floor in the corridors. The room... More

We stayed here while meeting up with relatives. Very good location in Birmingham on the canal among all the many great restaurants. The hotel was clean and staff friendly and efficient. However there were a few things that neede to be updated in the hotel eg carpet well used, damaged electric socket. We fed this back to the staff and... More
