Cost was the main reason for selecting this hotel as I needed somewhere to stay after a nights drinking in the city. The location with the mailbox is great, however the cost of the car park is expensive (you can get a discount from the hotel). The staff were very friendly and informative. You can get a discount for breakfast... More

Booked a night. Stay for work meeting in the city centre. I checked in late, the nights manager is great personality and very welcoming. The hotel it's self is nice and pleasent. The rooms a little dated. But very nice for 1or 2 nights. The location in the Mailbox is really good! The resturnat o. Ste i on Tried for... More

As a Ramada you would expect a bit more luxury however the price reflects this. Its not overly priced compared to many hotels in Birmingham and with being right in the mailbox its perfect for a night out. All bars and restaurants right on the door step. Was clean and tidy. Dated but it wasn't a problem. You get what... More

This Ramada Hotel is by no means luxury. It's a good, standard hotel suffering in parts from slightly faded glory but which the management work hard to keep to a consistently good standard. Clearly investment is being made because our bathroom was newly decorated with great water pressure whilst it was also spotlessly clean. Our room itself was a little... More

Great location next to the Mailbox and surrounded by a plethora of good branded restaurants. Lovely outlook over the canal. Very quiet at night. Good comfortable room complete with a property coffee maker (that's a first).

I stayed here overnight with a few friends to enjoy the night life in Birmingham. The Ramada, Mailbox is an excellent location for anyone wanting to so the same as us; grabbing a bite to eat, hitting the bars and clubs but wanting somewhere to sleep without worrying about expensive taxi's taking you half way through Birmingham. Broad street and... More

Whilst attending a family wedding at the cube (next building over) I had a very expensive Pandora Bracelet valued over 1000GBP taken from the room. The room was unsanitary, there was mould in the shower, the wallpaper was torn in the room and the window couldn't open properly. I was very disappointed with the hotel, a terrible experience, I do... More

Stayed here for one night for work. The room itself was plenty big enough with a double sized bed. The bathroom was disappointing with a very old and not so powerful shower. It was clean and ticked the necessary boxes for a overnight stay for work. Starbucks is situated downstairs which came in handy as the hotel itself charges £4... More

I chose this hotel because of its location which didn't disappoint. We were close to all the bars and restaurants and our room overlooked the water which was nice. Because of the proximity there were a lot of people staying there on nights out as we were but we found people to be inconsiderate of others when coming in blasting... More

Hotel is in a great location..next door to the mailbox, a very short walk from the conference quarter. Plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. But it can be quite hard to find, I didn't see any signage and the modest hotel frontage is rather eclipsed by all the other bar/restaurant signage in the area, Hotel itself is fine: comfortable, spacious...
