Stayed here on the 16th sept, terrible hotel, reception is lovely, bar area very nice but the corridors to the rooms and the rooms themselves are very dated... My curtain length was too short for the windows, pillowcases were inside out, so seams and labels on the outside... Needs an overhaul, carpet in corridors held together by duct tape, was... More

This hotel is conveniently situated right by the bars, restaurants and shops of the Mailbox complex. There are undoubtedly some cheap deals to be had at the Ramada, but I found it a fairly depressing place to stay. As I stepped out of the lift onto the fifth floor on the way to my room, the first thing I noticed... More

The above says it all really; its location within the mailbox with many bars and restaurants around it is very good. The staff are untiringly helpful but there’s no getting over that the hotel could do with a refresh and spruce up. There was nothing wrong with any of the equipment and the room was a decent size with a... More

This hotel is located in the centre of the Mailbox complex central Birmingham with easy access to parking, shops, restaurants and bars. The staff at reception are very welcoming and the hotel has its own Starbucks and restaurant/bar. Rooms are spacious and modern, with some overlooking the canal waters and central square of the complex. Overall, i think this is... More

Stayed one night and had a twimn room for £55. Although I knew it was in the mailbox it wasn't easy to find entrance. Good value and quite near Brindley Place bars etc. Room was quite spacious but could do with a refresh, carpet was stained in places. Decent shower. Was fine for 1 night for two of us on... More

Came here for a night away for my birthday. Arrived around 3 pm and checked in. Lots of people waiting to check in but was seen very quickly. Reception staff were polite and helpful. We went upstairs to our room, it was boiling hot but clean and tidy. Room was a little outdated and could do with a face lift... More

Cost was the main reason for selecting this hotel as I needed somewhere to stay after a nights drinking in the city. The location with the mailbox is great, however the cost of the car park is expensive (you can get a discount from the hotel). The staff were very friendly and informative. You can get a discount for breakfast... More

The rooms a little dated. But very nice for 1or 2 nights. The location in the Mailbox is really good! The resturnat o. Ste i on Tried for... More

As a Ramada you would expect a bit more luxury however the price reflects this. Its not overly priced compared to many hotels in Birmingham and with being right in the mailbox its perfect for a night out. All bars and restaurants right on the door step. Was clean and tidy. Dated but it wasn't a problem. You get what... More

This Ramada Hotel is by no means luxury. It's a good, standard hotel suffering in parts from slightly faded glory but which the management work hard to keep to a consistently good standard. Clearly investment is being made because our bathroom was newly decorated with great water pressure whilst it was also spotlessly clean. Our room itself was a little... More
