This is a well-equipped hotel in a convenient location- it's on Floor 7 of a shopping mall and it took me a while to work that out! And when I did, I couldn't quite find the reception. It's location is brilliant for a shopping trip and there are a host of the usual eateries in the complex- Cafe Rouge and... More

Just back from a weekend in snowy Birmingham, the staff at the desk really made our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Well done. The public areas are clean and modern. The rooms are perfectly spacious we had a floor to ceiling window which was great to sit down and relax overlooking the snowy mailbox. Only downside was we had... More

Not the easiest hotel to find on a cold night in the dark. Just one small entry point to the reception on floor 7 at the far end of The Mailbox. Warm welcome, and an easy check in led to a good sized but fairly basically furnished room with a standard double bed. Good sized T.V with selection of free... More

I stayed here for one night on a business trip at the beginning of February, and for the rate I obtained on the Internet cannot really fault what was offered. As you will see from the map it is very central and although it does not have its own parking, or even a discount, £18 for a full day for... More

Stayed here last night with work. Nice location in centre of brum - it's actually in/right next to the Mailbox - so park in the mailbox car-park - then in the lift and it's just next to all of the restaurants. Nice rooms. Bed was a little soft for me - but ok. Nice basic bathroom (although there was a... More

We stayed in your hotel last nite as a group, it was spacious, clean and welcoming! I had a brilliant nights sleep as the beds were so comfy, the staff were all pleasant and couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay.. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful and freshly cooked in front of you. Thanks to all and we... More

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the last 3 or 4 years for both business and pleasure and it's becoming more and more scruffy each time. On this trip I had to move rooms twice when I arrived, the first because there was a stray hair on the pillow (not nice) and the second time because there was... More

We booked with the £20 offer in the Telegraph. We have no complaints for the price. Our room was fresh, clean and spacious. The weekend breakfast deal was great value with a nice selection of well cooked produce. We were made very welcome by the two young ladies on reception who helped us with couple of requests. Didnt go round looking... More

We only stayed one night at the Ramada in Birmingham, but were very impressed with our room ( 209 ) which was nicely furnished and spacious and generally the hotel itself. The hotel is very well located for New Street station, close enough for the Bull Ring and with restuarants a few steps away. It did help that we booked... More

I stayed here in early December through a promotion in the Daily Telegraph. Finding the best way to approach this hotel going by the postcode location given by Ramada was a bit of a trauma. I parked on Holliday Street and walked the whole length of The Mail Box only to discover a brilliant cut through adjacent to Granville Street.... More
