We stayed overnight on Saturday November 23rd. We had come to Birmingham for the James Blunt concert at the NIA. Hotel was clean, rooms clean and well stocked. Bathroom had a great shower, bed was a little hard though. Excellent position just 5 mins walk to the NIA, plenty of restaurants and bars in easy walking distance. Would stay again

We have stayed at the Hilton Gardens from the days when it was the City Inn and then the Mint hotel. We recently stayed for a weekend trip to Birmingham for our wedding anniversary. We went to our room and when the television had problems I phoned reception and was told to unplug the key board as it was faulty... More

We stayed for one night after going to a show at the LG Arena (or whatever it is calling itself this week). The hotel is in a great location, and staff were generally friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and really nicely furnished, with comfy beds. Breakfast was a little luke warm as is sometimes the case with buffet breakfast... More

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Birmingham area. In fact we have stayed in this hotel many times. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable beds. We dined twice in the dining room and each meal was excellent. There are many other restaurants in the vicinity.

I have stayed here before as it is really convenient for our business meetings however it is doubtful I will return. Check in was long and tedious despite booking online and emailing the hotel the details of each guest as requested. They requested every personal detail under the sun and I have no idea why. The rooms are ok cosmetically... More

Rooms were great, clean etc as you would expect from a Hilton although the bathroom (no bath only a shower) was a little on the small side. Breakfast was a little chaotic with a bit of a queue on one morning. Also ordered a basic sandwich from the bar snack menu at lunch time and it took over 35 minutes... More

Friendly reception. Very nice room with good TV. Had meal out but hoped for a sandwich after concert but unfortunately none left in Pantry. Breakfast next day was very disappointing. Some of it was lukewarm and the rest cold. Did complain and was given vouchers for the next morning. ...only there for the one night!

This hotel is tastefully designed with contemporary, modern & minimalist lines in mind. The rooms are clean, new & have fabulous views overlooking Brindley Place. The Apple TV & PC are a lovely added feature especially if you need to take the office work home with you. A short stroll from the hotel takes you direct to the canal where... More

I had previously stayed at this hotel several times when it was a City Inn. It was my hotel of choice in Birmingham. Sadly this is no longer the case. The check in was very basic indeed, I've had far warmer welcomes in Travel Lodges. I was also less than impressed at being asked to pay for our room in... More

We have stayed in this hotel many times over the years, as it has changed hands, and it is now very good and consistently run by Hilton. The staff are excellent and very efficient. We were pleased with our room and the overall experience. We will stay here again on our next visit.
