Having been a regular (100 plus night) at City Inn which became Mint hotels I returned for one night to Bham and the price of a twin room with breakfast for 2 was alluring at £77.00 Decent welcome - parking in a Q Park (about £14.00?) Room - iMac- gym basic but only one other so 300+ calories burned -... More

We arrived late at night and tired, checked-in and went to bed. In the morning my wife awoke complaining of back pain. We found that the king bed we had booked was in fact 2 single beds pushed together to look like a king bed. We do not think it possible that this was a twin room made to look... More

All in all, for what it was, the place was excellent. Clean, efficient and well appointed city centre hotel. Its not 5 star luxury, but exactly what I expected it to be. Beds were clean and crisp, bar was welcoming and the beer was good. Spotlessly clean. Great location for an evening out with the quay just a walk away.... More

This is a very good hotel. clean / well appointed and the rooms are of a good size and excellent equipment. I have used this on business on a number of occasions and have found it well placed both for access to offices and the Brindley place restaurants area. I there are down sides I would suggest that the parking... More

Hotel was excellent, Room clean and well appointed. Car parking in a local multi-storey but very near. We stayed here as we were attending an event at the National Indoor Arena (NIA) which is very near (walking distance). The only negative was the restaurant, the food was good but the service was not so good. We wanted a meal as... More

We stayed for one night in August 2015. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The entrance is light bright and welcoming. The room a real treat. Liked the contemporary furnishings and apple products. Bed excellent. Shower and Bathroom all very acceptable. Breakfast brilliant. Like the idea of ordering an Omelet which was cooked to perfection. Despite many waiting on... More

After a terrible stay at Hilton Metropole London last week (see review), it was with some trepidation that we stayed at another Hilton. Thankfully the stay was significantly better than what London had to offer. The receptionist was very helpful and efficient and had us checked in very quickly. Then again this was very similar to our London experience but... More

It was a very nice welcome, the lady was very helpful, and queen room was spotless, and perfect, only bad thing is when I checked out I was made to pay £60 extra for our breakfast even though I booked through booking.com and payed for the more expensive price because it included breakfast, but the next women was unhelpful and...
