We stayed for two nights either side of a cricket match at Edgbaston. For some reason this is a four star hotel. Perhaps it is because they offer room service. It is clearly not four star, more like a basic three star. It is also cheap. Our room, a premier grade room was on the ground floor by the car... More

Situated on the HagleyRroad gives you good access to birmingham central areas. I have stopped at this hotel on numerous occasions but have stopped now because somthings just don't change. The hotel reception is fine and dependant on who you get checkin is pleasant enough. The restaurant is Ok standard food but of good size portions. My main concern is... More

Highs: Plenty of hot water, good shower, large room and lots of wardrobe space, free car park on site Lows: Dirty fridge, room smelled a bit on arrival, no spoons to stir tea/coffee etc The TV remote didn't work; hairdryer didn't work, noisy plumbing when running the hot water; uncomfortable bed, could have done with better lighting. Not really somewhere... More

So fist off we booked a king room which whilst I was a king room it was a little underwhelming. I will say right off the bat in its defence it was better value and of similar standards to certain premier inns I've stayed in in the past but I was hoping for something with a little more of a... Me and my partner stayed for a weekend break - the hotel shows signs of wear and tear though, lots of windows around the hotel are breaking/coming off hinges. Doors have lots of chips and dints in too. We only stayed two nights and didn't get a good night sleep on either, fire alarms and noisey guests kept us awake... More

Dear Thomas, Dear Guest, Thank you for your comments, both positive and negative. I am of course disappointed to read that other guests disturbed you during the night. Arrived late on the Friday night, around 12 am. It was advertised on the website that it was possible to get 24 hour room service. When we arrived; we were told that room service was 6-9pm Monday to Saturday but that we could order a pizza from the local takeaway. Great. Got to our room and it looked nothing ad... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to provide your feedback. I’m extremely sorry that your stay was not satisfactory. We do room service H24 but only for the drinks as our restaurant is only open from 6 to 9pm. We also have snacks like crisps and nuts available H24. Also, I am sorry that you were... More

Stayed for two nights for an Ashes game. nice room with good amenities, could do with a little TLC but decent size room, fab shower, food was brilliant and room service was really quick. Loads of places to eat within 5 minute walk. reception staff were really helpful.

The room was clean but tired and tatty. Many of the rooms fixtures needed repair (window handle falling off). The evening meal was not good, my steak was over done and tough. I was given a refund for this meal. At breakfast my meal was good but my wife's was not. The sausages were uncooked and the scrambled egg powdery.... More

We stayed in Birmingham on our holiday last week and we had booked fairly last minute. We needed a place to stay before our trip to Cadbury world which was about a 15 minute drive away, The room was clean, tidy and the bed was Massive (we had a queensize room) We had great nights sleeps and wish we had...
