We Stayed for NYE, the rooms were nice. (cold but nothing we couldn't fix once we turned the heating on for a while!) The rooms were great value for money, I was expecting it to cost a lot more for NYE! We also enjoyed breakfast the next day - had the choice of either continental or full english. I would... More

Have stayed twice now both times in a Queen room. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds are so comfy and the Hotel really quiet. With plenty of parking it is great and so close to not only Birmingham Centre but Birmingham University too.

I have stayed here a couple of times now and was hoping to see some improvement, but it has managed to get worse. The first time I stayed the service was good, but since the owners have extended the property they must have forgotten to get some staff. The revamped part of the hotel was definitely done on the cheap... More

A lot of work has clearly been done to bring this hotel up to date and the refurb does look great. It's just still a bit sketchy round the edges. Lift is about 100 years old and sticks on 2nd floor shaking for a while before doors open which scared a few in my party ha! Bit of broken furniture... More

The best thing about this hotel is its quietness, no noise at all. The bed and mattress were firm and comfortable. The room was decent and clean, however the corridor needed some vacuum cleaning. There is a small bar downstairs, not overly expensive. The TV in our room did not work, however Wifi connection was good and fast. The location was convenient... More

We've stated at this hotel before and as we've stayed again I thought it nice to leave a review. This is a family run business and in my experience from the many places I've stayed it's one the very best. We booked via an agent and it was good value for money other hotels in the area were also charging... More

We had a peaceful night's sleep in a clean, quiet, comfy bed. None of the whirring fans, noisy vending machines or air con units which have disturbed (or as in one recent hotel stay) or prevented a night's sleep. The room was at the back of the hotel, away from the road with a view of a brick wall! A... More

I stayed at the Collection whilst attending an evening event at the ICC on Broad Street in Birmingham. I arrived at 3pm in the afternoon. My room was ready, check in was speedy and friendly. I was advised of both the check out time, (which was written on my key card) and restaurant opening time, so they have learnt from... More
