A strange place, but not bad... I got a sense of deja-vu when parking at an angle in front of this hotel, but cannot remember the previous name before Clarion had anything to do with it. The room was very clean and quiet as befits no view on the side of the hotel, with modern fitments and is trying hard... More

As we pulled into the car park, I asked my other half of this was seriously a hotel. We reluctantly wheeled our bags into reception and checked in. Reception looked better than the outside so we were prepared to give it a chance. As we got into what can only be described as a goods lift, I started having doubts... More

This hotel was ok however the room was quite small and recently been renovated. The room was clean but the shower door was broken and the seals were hanging off. The rooms were better than the actual hotel as it needed a good clean, the stairs were really dirty and needed a good hoover. For one nights stay it was... More

My wife and I decided to stay here for two nights as we were visiting the NEC for the Motorhome and Caravan show. We booked through a late rooms site online at £90 for both nights. On arrival the staff were ok but gave us a room on the top floor (no lift) even though my wife uses a walking... More

I'm staying here for 5 nights and decided to write a review just before my 3rd night sleep. On arrival on Sunday, I was a little concerned about the frontage of the hotel, which was in need of a spruce up. I am very pleased to say my room is better than expected and more of a 4 plus star.... More

I booked a Queen room on 10th october. On the website the rooms looked fab and high standard but the reality was unfortunately different. At reception the two male staff were not friendly and definitely did not make me feel welcome, they were cold and neither of them smiled. In our room, one of the wall lights did not work,... More

First impressions are very nice, the staff are professional and do a good job. The rooms are very tired and in desperate need of some basic decoration. My... More
