Stayed here on a saturday night as a last minute booking because the hotel across the road messed up on our room availability so I didnt get a chance to look at the hotel as I usually would. First impressions were of the carpark which looked like a bombsite, extrememely off putting and uprofessional. The reception and the inside looked... More

This is a mediocre hotel with very thin walls. My main complaint isthat they advertise ample parking. I enquired when I arrived if this was round the back and told yes and nothing else. I went out and arrived back at 10.20, with no spaces out the front I asked at reception to be allowed into the rear as the... More

went here for a meeting on a Saturday, the staff were a little surly and even at times appeared quite rude.(although not all of them I may add) the car park looks like they have used it for bomb practice with old signs, broken bricks and what looks like the remnants of a mausoleum there. there were 25-30 of us... We booked this when we were about half an hour from Birmingham, so very last minute. First impressions weren't very good and as we parked around the back it looked very unkempt. However the reception staff were friendly and helpful and the communal areas were clean. It looks like it's a work in progress. Our room, in the main building,... More

I am writing this review on behalf of our best man and bridesmaid. A room was booked via booking.com for a one night stay when they got there the best man went to check in and the obnoxious guy on reception said that the room had been cancelled due to not being given a £50deposit by booking.com ( nothing was... There aren't many places to park at most 20 odd spaces so be vary of that when you book, since this hotel is on a main road there aren't many parking spots available off hotel premises either. We ended up getting fed up and parked up right next to the building in an unmarked bay. To make things worse, we were... More

What an amazing hotel. We had no idea what we were getting and when we pulled up we were even more unsure but what a welcome, the young man on reception greeted us helped with our bags then parked the car in their secure car park. This is a very posh part of Birmingham, which we had never experienced before,... More

Stayed in a double room situated on the ground floor. The room was clean, tidy and the bed, albeit a bit small was comfortable. For the price, not bad. The window dosent open very far, which I guess is good for deterring anyone climbing in...However, the room got quite warm and stuffy due to the lack of air. The breakfast... More

Place was dirty and could do with good clean. Our bedroom was large enough. Paid extra for this. Bed was good. Breakfast was also good. Having a clean hotel is important. Carpets worn. The main court yard was full of the party held previously. Dirty. Someone needs to put some TLC into this hotel. I will not be back.

As so many have said, the manager and staff are rude and unfriendly. On ething we have learnt - never, ever check into a hotel which demands full payment on arrival. There were far too many problems to list but one in particular is worth mentioning. On the night we arrived there was a raucous wedding taking place. When we... More
