We stayed here for one night after booking two as our plans changed. The hotel was clean and good value for money. The staff we saw were all friendly and helpful. The room was basic yet comfortable. It was close enough to the city centre and local travel links were easily accessible. All in all a good little place.

I booked this hotel as i was looking for something low budget and close to the city centre of Birmingham as I was attending an event at the symphony hall. This hotel did the job, it was clean and the staff went out their way to ensure the 2 rooms i booked were close together (even though this resulted in... More

Paid only £40 for the night when the premier inn was only £40 too, the bed was awful, couldn't get a decent nights sleep at all. The condiments in the room was good, with hot chocolate and coffees. All the electricals was in good working order so can't grumble at those. The food was very overpriced for what you got.... More

Stayed here on a murder mystery night with Murder One and despite the event being brilliant my experience at the hotel was terrible. The hotel staff were, in the main, obnoxious and treated me as if I was an inconvenience. I can't believe this hotel has any good reviews at all. My room was dirty, towels soiled and the bathroom... My Husband and I stayed here last night 17th Jan after seeing Strictly live tour at the Bar clay card arena. The room was cold at first and we couldn't get the radiator warm. We mentioned it twice the receptionist and when we got back after the show, the room was lovely and warm. very basic but VERY clean everywhere.... More

I would recommend this hotel. Three friends and I stayed for New Year's Eve; it was only £22.50 each, and the room had a TV, fancy sofa, refreshments, etc., with two single beds and a double. Very comfortable. Friendly staff. The only disadvantage was that the taxi journey into the city centre cost £10. But I think if we'd known... More

I went to the Hotel on the works Xmas do. It was a murder mystery with excellent actors, service and food. There was room to sit without someone knocking you, the staff ate on a table nearby- nice to see that they are looking after the staff, disco was good, a fab do and I would go again, cant comment... Me and my boyfriend stayed here after a Christmas party at the Regency Hotel just opposite. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable which meant it suited what we needed it for. The only problem was the noise from surrounding rooms. The walls are pretty thin meaning you can hear people's conversations in the neighbouring rooms and sometimes... More

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and always found it to be ok, the hotel itself is about a twenty minutes walk from the city centre, all staff are polite and friendly, the room was clean and tidy with a wide selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, the bathroom was clean with an...
