We had our wedding ceremony and reception here. It was amazing. The wedding co-ordinator Lynne was amazing. Everything was perfect and if anyone is looking for a venue for a wedding or any celebration then check out this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are great too. Many of our guests stayed and the bridal suite was wonderful.... More

Desperately wanted to say good things about this place because the staff we dealt with were great, BUT management are awful. Yes, there are exposed wires, our room had defunct smoke alarms. We accepted (without any forewarning) a wedding on the Saturday night - and the fact it kept us awake until way past midnight. But when a party started... More

On arrival we were sceptical having read the reviews. Mix up with the booking, not hotels fault, meant our stay didn't get off to the greatest start. We did have to argue our case against having to pay full adult price breakfasts for a 1 and 2 and 5 year old but we managed to reach a compromise. Took a... More

We stayed her for 1 night booking a family room for 2 adults, 3 children (5, 2 and 1 year old). We booked via bookings.com and specified the number of people and was quoted £106.00 with breakfast. It was a good price comparable as other hotels said we'd need 2 rooms. The hotel didn't receive this information on the booking,... More

Stayed here last night. The room was spotless. The shower wasn't the best though but the staff were friendly. I would stay here again especially for the price. It is also in a good location with off road parking

Good location and on site parking and that is it. Very poor value for money. Basic and small rooms. I expect some sort of covering for a bare bulb, toilet roll holders, towels, bedside lamps and the list goes on. I have stayed in far better youth hostels for far less money. In fact my camper and awning have more... More

After a long intercontinental flight we stayed for one night at the hotel as a family of four. Our family room was 200 pounds which was too expensive for what it was (a simple room). Due to the long flight we overslept and at 11am reception called our room and told us to leave the room in 5 minutes or... More

My boyfriend booked a birthday weekend away for me and we stayed with you on Saturday evening. We checked in and was met with a polite person who proceeded to book us a taxi for our planned visit to Cadburys world. The room was spacious and overall we were happy. That evening we went for a meal at a Chinese... More

Some friends had recently booked a wedding reception there and tbh, I was more than disappointed. 1. The main reception room staff started to clear tables at 11:20 while people were still sitting down. 2. Last orders at the bar was called just after 11:00 3.people were being ushered out at 11:30 4. Use of 1 hand towel in main... More

The location of the hotel was good but needs updating. I was woken every morning at 3pm or 4pm when people starting showering. Can hear the TV from next door. Over an hour now. No insulation Couldn't sleep until late due to people talking in the courtyard. The wifi was variable. The shower was also just about passable as it... More
