Place was dirty and could do with good clean. Our bedroom was large enough. Paid extra for this. Bed was good. Breakfast was also good. Having a clean hotel is important. Carpets worn. The main court yard was full of the party held previously. Dirty. Someone needs to put some TLC into this hotel. I will not be back.

As so many have said, the manager and staff are rude and unfriendly. On ething we have learnt - never, ever check into a hotel which demands full payment on arrival. There were far too many problems to list but one in particular is worth mentioning. On the night we arrived there was a raucous wedding taking place. When we... More

We stayed here with my parents, sister and nephews as a treat for my nephews to go to cadbury world for the day. Initial thoughts on arrival were looks ok for the price we paid until we checked in. We were asked if we wanted to pre-book for breakfast but were told there was no child option for breakfast and... More

Room was spacious and clean. Hotel in general needs freshening up throughout. Noisy night with people up and down corridors. For me personally this hotel is extremly over priced. All hotels have a place in the market. We paid £120 room only for one Saturday night.......about £80 may have been a fairer price. When we arrived we decided not to... More

It was fine - seemed clean and beds quite comfortable. We were there on a Saturday night so despite being at the front on the main road it was quiet. Rear garden not as attractive as the photo and very scruffy rear car park. Breakfast OK though expensive for what it was and when we asked for more tea, having... More

This hotel was booked for me as a surprise weekend and I must say if I'm ever in the area again I will not have any worries about booking to stay here. The room and bathroom were both very clean. The staff were polite and friendly throughout our stay and the evening meal we enjoyed in the onsite restaurant was... More

We only stayed for one night while we attended our good friends mums 95th Birthday. We were able to park at the front of the hotel but they also have a car park at the rear as well.. The reception and staff were very welcoming and we were given room 424 - which is a triple room. Spacious, nice new... More

Myself & 3 other girls stayed here for a birthday night out in Birmingham, on arrival we was told absolutely no drink or food in the hotel room not even juice, and that we was not allowed into each others rooms! Throughout the day there was some type of music function going on with was quite loud & went on... More

I booked the Edgbaston Palace Hotel for my company's party. From the initial party enquiry to evening itself our party organiser Lynne ensured that everything went smoothly, nothing was too much trouble and they even created themed cocktails, menu's, table decorations etc to compliment our themed night. The food was excellent, very good quality and plentiful. The waiting and bar... More
