Hotel and restaurant OK although it looks a little tired and run down. Rooms are compact, food is good, location is urban. Great for contractors staying regularly, maybe not so ideal for families. Good hotel, nothing bad about it just not my cup of tea.

Not too bad if you are in Birmingham for buisness... This is a working mans hotel, the rooms are adequate as is the service and decor. Evening meals are of. Decent standard. The. Being somewhat of a pleasant sent highlight. Wifi is very good. Breakfast is however woeful and certainly not worth the £8 wanted for it.

First impressions are that its a little tired. Could do with a freshen up but having said that the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room faced the main road but there was no noise so had a good nights sleep.Lots of clean towels. Breakfast was hot and fresh although a bit expensive for what we had.... More

I booked a twin room for my wife and daughter to stay 4 days while they were attending the Crufts dog show at the NEC. The hotel is ideally located within easy driving distance. Both my wife (who is registered disabled - though not wheelchair bound) and my daughter said the Hotel was comfy, clean, friendly and the food was... More

The hotel was easy to find and parking good. It's very basic but all we needed was there. It was quite clean. Could do with a freshen up here and there. Breakfast was good although we went down halfway through and not much continental breakfast pastries left, thought it was quite expensive for what you can get elsewhere. I wear... More

First impressions "doesn't look too bad" the guy on reception welcomed us at the door, we got our key, was a bit of a maze getting up to the room, got in and it was very small, but would do for the night. Went to use the toilet, the water was a stale brown/yellow colour, so obviously someone had been... More

Bit apprehensive at first , but didn't need to be! Inside very well decorated, friendly staff, easy check in and checking out. Room was very small but that didn't matter at all as it was very clean and comfortable! Perfect distance from broad street, literally 5 minutes (if that) by taxi. Free parking too! :-) will defo be using this... More

We stayed here for one night after booking two as our plans changed. The hotel was clean and good value for money. The staff we saw were all friendly and helpful. The room was basic yet comfortable. It was close enough to the city centre and local travel links were easily accessible. All in all a good little place.

I booked this hotel as i was looking for something low budget and close to the city centre of Birmingham as I was attending an event at the symphony hall. This hotel did the job, it was clean and the staff went out their way to ensure the 2 rooms i booked were close together (even though this resulted in... More
