Whilst retaining the character of the building the hotel offers beautful modern comfortaable bedrooms that have leapt into the 21st centruy. The immaculate refurbished rooms have superb lighting making it easy to work or read in the bedrooms. New street railway station links to the hotel making this a perfect hotel when visiting the NEC or Birmingham. more

This hotel is something of a gem. It's tucked away right in the centre of Birmingham, although you will feel a million miles away from the hustle & bustle of city life. I booked a standard executive but found it very ordinary and in need or a good amount of renovation. The bathroom is old and need to be scrapped. The health centre was closed when I was there and they had not organized a replacement service (a deal through an external fitness club). The breakfast is ok if all you want... more

Rooms dated but comfortable beware as there is scafolding outiside would advise to check room before accepting it. Staff friendly although hotel bar shuts early. Service at Breakfast excellent very friendly and welcoming more
