I was at the Westbourne Lodge for 11 weeks while working locally. I had a great time at the lodge, and am very grateful for Norma's hospitality. I would highly recommend the breakfast! The lodge will by my first port of call if I am ever staying in Birmingham again.

I've just finished staying at the Westbourne Lodge having spent the week in Birmingham on business. Well appointed hotel, extremely clean, all of the amenities that you require, great food, great service and nothing is too much trouble for the proprietor (Norma) who is extremely welcoming and accommodating. Thank you.

If you want a very quiet hotel within easy reach of the city centre and university with ample parking this is it. Add to this spotless rooms nicely furnished and an owner for whom nothing is too much trouble and you are guaranteed a very nice stay. We were given a warm welcome at ten o'clock at night and a... Westbourne Lodge is a well-appointed brick house in a leafy street just off the busy Hagley Road. I prefer B&Bs to corporate hotels and chose to stay there overnight on a business trip. When I booked I tried to secure a room overlooking the garden, but was refused on the grounds that all rooms were quiet. Not strictly true: if... More

We stayed at Westbourned Lodge as part of a group participating in the National squash team finals at the Edgbaston priory club down the road. We were made to feel very welcome at all times and the facilities were clean and well presented with a nice breakfast too. Excellent value for money also with free wifi and 24/7 key access... More

One of the nicest B&Bs we have stayed in. Friendly and helpful owner, extremely comfortable and spacious double room, with spotlessly clean facilities and good cooked breakfast. Easy access in and out at any time and car parking too. It was everything we wanted from a B&B and would definitely return.

We stayed here for one night in December and were made very welcome by the lady of the house, Norma, who brought fruit, biscuits and mince pies to our room while we were settling in. There is a very nice residents lounge with complimentary tea and coffee on the go and, I think, maybe a bar service too? The bedroom... More

Thanks to Norma and her team for looking after me when I was let down by the ludicrously misnamed Edgbaston Palace! My superior room was spacious and light, with a modern bathroom and good shower. The bed was very comfortable, I could have stayed there all day! A proper breakfast was served with a smile, and the rate was good... More

We stayed in a 3 bedded family room at the front of the house. It was very comfortable & clean. Breakfast was lovely, good quality & freshly cooked to order. Nothing was too much trouble & we have no hesitation in recommending this lovely B&B.

A quiet stay at Westbourne Lodge was a lovely surprise as we were a couple of minutes walk to the bus and ten minutes to the Symphony Hall. Our room was a good size, comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was use of a kitchen, including washing machine available for use until 10 pm. Very easy... More
