Lovely B&B and owned and run by the delightful Norma. The room was brilliant and with a large on suite. We had tea, scones with jam in the afternoon and a glass of wine from the bar before going to our friends for dinner. Breakfast was full English and all fresh and of a high quality. Great value for money.... More

We stayed here recently, and chose it based on the great reviews. The owner is a very lovely host she was very helpful and put on a great spread of cakes, biscuits, teas, coffee, cordial etc. The room was so clean really good size and we got a free upgrade too. Big TV in the room (nicer than the TV... More

Stayed here with 2 colleagues a few weeks ago... Normally stay in Hotels and pay hotel prices.. This was a little gem hidden in a leafy street in Edgbaston. Clean as a whistle, owner had made fresh cakes on our arrival, top tips for places to eat(all walking distance) , she could not do enough to make our stay welcoming.... More

A bit query (in a good way). Part hotel, part B&B. Good rooms (clean, tidy, spacious, good decor) and excellent breakfast. Very welcoming. Friendly Staff. Nice lounge and bar. Off Road Parking. Good gastropub and great indian within walking distance.

Room warm and comfortable with plenty of room to move about. Breakfast good. Very convenient for Birmingham and buses to the centre. Not a lot more to say as we were only there one night to go to meet with friends and then a conference in the ICC.

Westbourne lodge was our first stay at a Guess House - fantastic. The staff and owner provide everything you need and then some. Close to transport, shops and restaurants. Older style but welcoming, clean and cosy.

Stayed one night at The Westbourne Lodge and what a pleasant time we had. We were greeted by Norma who offered us tea or coffee and cake on arrival. Then she upgraded us to a lovely spacious room. Everything clean and tidy, lovely comfortable bed. Great en-suite hot steamy shower room. Next morning it was lovely to see fresh flowers... More

We stayed at Westbourne Lodge overnight when visiting our daughter at the University of Birmingham. The place was clean but the decor was tired and there was a distinct aroma of damp in the old building. There was plenty of space in the family room with a double and a single bed. Kettle and cups were provided in the room... More
