Stayed overnight after a Christmas dinner dance and after taking note of other reviews booked a room in the main building. Had a previous stay a couple of years before which was disappointing but the hotel has obviously changed since then. The room was newly refurbished, warm, clean and modern. Staff were very friendley and attentive, The room i styed in was a little noisey from the Bar below but that stopped just after 11pm. Very good breakfast. For a comfortable night, good food and friendly staff, give it a try Happy traveling Peter more

I am afraid the quality of food and drink at the Westley during my stay were very poor - there was no real ale, my wine was rather poor and my fish dish from the a la carte menu was inedible. The bed was uncomfortable, too. I shan't be back. more
