Very good value. Arrived late and reception was quick to issue key; both room and bathroom were very clean and presentable. Breakfast included a full English cooked breakfast if requested; helpful staff. The hotel is used mainly by business travellers - so doesn't matter that it is not in city centre, and the design is 1970's utilitarian rather than attractive.... More

If you use a certain hotel search engine..you are likely to get stuck with this establishment.. Where service doesn't exist..they demand a 100 pounds of you before you check in..irrespective of whether you have pound and to get it back is a nightmare...the place is tired and reminds you of a place you can't wait to get out of

Stayed one night and believe me it was awful.. noise was all night people stood outside rooms drunk till early hours, hear all through walls, dirty rooms (marks on walls, stained side boards, mold in bathroom. Looks like a war zone when you pull up.

Stayed a night with a very close friend on a trip to Birmingham and we didn't want to drink and drive. The best that could be said was it was cheap and cheerful you get what you pay for on the plus side the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water when we needed it the cleaning... More

A good value hotel. The rooms are basic but clean and well presented. For me the reason I keep coming back to stay at this hotel is the quality of the breakfast. Excellent choice and well cooked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for 1 night when I visited Birmingham for a murder mystery at another hotel. // Location & Parking It's location is good, Hagley road - which is the main area for hotels in Birmingham, a short taxi road to Broad street. It has private parking. That ticks the boxes! //Check in/Out Check in and out was easy... More

On arrival we assumed the satnav had once again sent us the wrong way, straight into a run down looking council estate. We saw a Hotel Reception sign and I parked outside one of the flats to enquire about parking for the hotel. It was at this point I was informed that these were in fact the hotel rooms!!! So... More

I wasn't going to leave a review on this hotel as the older waiter at the restaurant was so lovely and helpful I felt a little bad but I need to be honest. This was booked through expedia as we had concert tickets for the NIA. Location to the Nia is brilliant - literally 11 minutes in traffic so you... More

We stayed her for one night and were a bit concerned about the negative reviews. However our concerns were ill founded. The receptionist was very pleasant and told us everything that we needed to know. We were in room 227 just opposite reception. We had no difficulty using the key card. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable.... More
