The wedding I attended was my daughters. The hotel staff were wonderfully helpful and Aaron the coordinator on the day was so organised. The food was excellent, the rooms were spacious the bar prices are a little on the high side but we had an amazing day and night.

Spent 1 night here while visiting Cadbury World The hotel design and decoration has a great art deco theme and the reception and bar area look great. Rest of the hotel is at best a little tired. Room was a good size and clean but again rather dated - given the low cost of the room I dont feel this... More

Needs a lot of work! Old and outdated with a very strange way of directing me to my room (up stairs then down then around windy corridors and then up again) no lifts so I was panting with my luggage the first time I started the adventure of finding my room. Room itself very old and in need of work.... More

Whilst the reception area and bars showed promise, the roommdidn't deliver. I will say firstly that the room was spotlessly clean and housekeeping were helpful. However, the shower curtain smelt damp and nasty, the bath panel was chipped, the desk was faded and worn. The wallpaper was peeling off in places. Tea tray was lacking in supplies.there was torn wallpaper... More

we held our wedding at the plough and Harrow on Friday the 19th June and we could not have been happier, the venue was not only the perfect setting for our day but truly stunning, the rooms were great, spacious, and had everything to hand. Thanks to the staff we could not have wished for a better day, Carla was... More

last weekend the family and I tried this place for a trip to see family in Birmingham, Family room did the job perfectly, Definitely enough space comfortably for my family of four to enjoy! Sometimes when you visit these family rooms they are tiny, and you feel crammed in, Staff were great, My sons loved the breakfast. Better than all... More

The hotel rooms are a decent size and I had 2 single beds, desk and plenty of hanging space. The bathroom was good proportions and the shower was nice & hot. The bar is a lovely area and it was great to see a pianist playing too. Breakfast is a hot and cold buffet and all the food was tasty... More

Had lunch here and found the staff to be very friendly and polite. The pub is very comfortable and a nice environment for lunch and a social chat. The food was very good and served promptly so I could not fault my experience at this hotel, I would definitely recommend for families, couples, friends and/or business meetings. Great Pub.

Stayed here on business. Plenty of car parking spaces, efficient and friendly check in. The room was spacious with a nice comfy bed and refreshing shower in the morning. WIFI was wired and you have to get the router from reception (ask when checking in as some of the rooms have quite a walk to get to them) but allowed... More

I stayed here on Business , easy check in and nice setting in bar and dinning room , Long walk to rooms , no lifts so if lots of heavy luggage you will need help , dinning room was full that night so we had the Burger meal with a pint at £11.50 , very good for what it was... More

Thank you for your kind comments although I am sorry for the mix up re the sport. The sport should be on in the evenings and I will speak to those concerned as to why it was not. Thank you again and I hope to see you again in the future More
