When we initially arrived we were impressed by the reception area of the hotel, it is beautiful. Unfortunately this does not extend to the rooms and hallways. Long smelly walk through hotel up and down stairs to reach room. Room also had damp dirty smell. Bedding etc seemed fairly clean the room was far from clean with litter from previous... More

Lovely warm welcoming staff, very helpful also beautiful food however when we got into our room it was very outdated, unclean and uncomfortable. Very dusty room with cobwebs along the ceiling. You could also hear the music from the bar as was very loud and not considerate as had a 3 year old with us. Will not be staying again... More

The hotel is well situated 5-10 minutes walk from Paradise Circus, 30 minutes walk from The Mailbox and 35 minutes from Warwickshire County Cricket Club. A twin room was £107 for two nights. The room was of a standard size, not squashed and was very clean. The bathroom was plenty big enough and was also clean. The staff were friendly... More

This hotel is very dated and in need of a refurb, whilst the main part of the hotel is very charismatic and is impressive, the more recent wings of the hotel towards the back are more akin to a university halls of residence from 30 years ago. We checked in on the bank holiday friday in preparation for the T20... More

Stayed here in a family room (2 adults a 4 year old and an 8 week old) as part of Cadbury world package. We were coming from London and would have been allot easier to email tickets so we could have gone direct to Cadbury world but no. . We had to collect from reception even though couldn't check in.... Stayed 19 Aug 2015. Free parking and good WiFi. I had to ask about WiFi connection after I had checked in and gone to my room, only to find there was no WiFi, but the receptionist smilingly gave me a router to plug in in my room, and it worked fine. It was a hike to my room up and... More

We stayed at this hotel in August 2014 as part of a Cadbury world package. It was just ok. The public areas of the hotel were nice and well kept but this did not extend to our room. It was a very long walk going up and down some stairs and the decor was dated. Soon after arrival I found... More

We stayed here as part of a package to go to Cadbury World. It is very nice and seems secluded from the bustle of the city. One downside is breakfast ends too early. We stayed a week night and breakfast was served from 7-9 a.m. It's A much too early finish time especially if you are travelling with children". Everything... More

I just wanted to drop you a message to tell you how fantastic Saturday was for our beautiful wedding. I just wanted you to pass on my thanks to all the staff and Aron for a beautiful day. It was everything and more that we dreamed of for the day. The room was magnificent and my centrepieces and tables were... More

Just returned from a night stay at the Plough me and my 3 grandsons 5,7 and 10. Staff v friendly very clean rooms and recently refurbished although keeping character of the hotel. Couldn't fault the bed and breakfast offer of £95 including entrance to Cadbury world. Only disappointment was evening meal. The restaurant was being used for a function so... More
