I had a really good deal on this hotel through Travel Republic and I was pleasantly impressed. I had stayed there a few years ago and it seemed much improved. Check in was fast and efficient, the rooms of a good size and warm and comfortable. The location, very close to the station was ideal for me as I was... more

stayed here for 3 nights with wife on dinner bed and breakfast rate.executive room was ok, noquibbles there.my main grouses are 14 pound daily parking fee in ncp carpark and food costs.the dbb rate only covered an 18 pound allowance each yet ther was no way with the prices on the menu that you could have 3 courses for that... more

We had a city break in Birmingham in November and stayed at the Holiday Inn, it was absolutely brilliant! The location is excellent and close to the train station and the canals. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were big enough for two and very clean. Breakfast was quite standard but everything looked freshly prepared. I... more

Nice staff, not a bad hotel but entrance is secluded and hard to fine. Great if you are coming from new street station just 5 mins walk away. Rooms good but it does get noisy outside during the night and the weekends with traffic. Great if you want to go shopping in the Bullring and China town is just around... more

Location: Walking distance to the city centre and main Birmingham city train station (New Street). Ideal for shopping & dinning. Room: We were allocated a executive room on the 9th floor which contained all mod-cons. It was clean, a little rough around the edges considering it appears that they have been newly refurbished. Only real issue was that it was... more

Hello all, Stayed here for 2 nights, Friday & Saturday. I have to say its a good standard hotel, clean with ample amenities, close to town and good food! One thing I can say is if you have a room on the front facing the main road the noise can get to a high level as it seems to be a... more

I stayed for 4 nights at the holiday inn and have no complaints whatsoever. The rooms were modern, with plasma TV's, clean and well furnished. I was at the back of the hotel and it was remarkably quiet for a city centre hotel. The rooms are air conditioned so there was no need to open the windows and this helped... more
