I have to say, at the start, this is not my first stay at this hotel so I am clearly happy to return!! Despite being now part of the Ramada Jarvis group, "The George Hotel" (as it is locally known) still retains much of it's traditional character. We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights at a superb total value of £40.00 through a special deal in the daily mail. Do not rely on the lovely pictures of the hotel as in actual fact - the pictures are just of the front and a horrible 80's student block appears at the back which overlooks the car park.... more
