A well located hotel with clean rooms and helpful staff but . . . Do not expect to be able to sleep! Despite triple glazing, the noise from the nightclub immediately behind the hotel (which doesn't shut until 4am) makes sleep impossible. A great place to stay if you're partying in the local clubs until the early hours, but, if... More

We got to the hotel Friday the 14th Nov at night, the gate to the car park is to small and there should be more awareness for the guests when entering. Considering we smashed up the car because of those gates. The hotel staff especially two Karol and Alvi were very friendly an helpful. They helped us with insurance paper... More

The hotel is a 5 minute taxi ride or 15 minute (I walk slowly) from New Street Station. It's in the China Town District of the City giving you plenty of choices for a reasonably priced meal. But it's a busy part of town and there was a lot of noise from a nearby club until the early hours -... More

Yes it close to new street station, and the staff are friendly but that's about the only things going for it. The car park is difficult to get in, and it's very small. The rooms are small, but clean. However the rooms were red hot and with an opened window there's constant noise throughout the night. The shower had no... More

We stayed in this hotel from Wednesday 5 November through to the morning of Monday 10th. Several plus points (rooms nice, though shower areas small; excellent breakfast; friendly staff)but a serious problem which I see is flagged up in other reviews. The hotel is right beside several night clubs and a taxi rank. The noise on the Thursday night was... More

This Ibis is close to New Street station, in the middle of Chinatown- not the most salubrious part of the City, particularly late at night, is OK functional but little more. Rooms can be noisy at night. Breakfast poor to average, bar service sporadic but overall is resonable value for money. Definitely functional, nothing more.

Plus points: Good location, pleasant staff, very comfortable bed, bedroom on the small side but OK, quiet. Minus points: Bathroom a bit cramped, very poor shower pressure and fiddly controls, coffe machine either not working or out of milk, printer problems at check out.

Had a 2 night stay at this hotel. Check-in, room quality and cleanliness all very good. In addition, the hotel is very close to the station and shopping area. I would definite come back again. Tidy room but I don't rate the breakfast at all. Cramped together in one canteen was not a good experience for me. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. No soap at the time I checked in. It should be a hostel really.
