This was good value for money, handy for us to go to the NEC to see motorhome show on two days.breakfast was good value too at £7.95, you couldn't go wrong for the money. The room was clean and had all you needed for one night, convenient and appropriate for a one night stay

Do not stay in this hotel at the weekend unless you are going our clubbing and plan to get out of your mind so you can get to sleep. There is a nightclub literal next door and the music was so loud we could hear every word the DJ said. It went on from 8-3.30am. Me and my sister were... More

Stayed here from the 10th to the 12th and disappointingly no hot water was available throughout our stay. I was offered a 25% discount by the receptionist but on hinesight in this day and age, a hotel without hot water should not be charging! £126 for two nights in a hotel with no hot water? I am myself a Managing... More

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for your comments. I am sorry that our recent issue we experienced this weekend with two few-hours periods where hot water was not available impacted negatively on your image of ibis hotel. I am sure that receptionist informed you that we had two independent specialists called on site during Saturday night as well as during the... More

Stayed here overnight as I was meeting friends in Birmingham. Hotel is very well located for the centre of Birmingham and the rooms were spotless. No view from the window but this did not bother me. Shower nice and powerful and bathroom a reasonable size. Clean airy room with comfortable beds. Continental breakfast was very good with more on offer... More

I have stayed in the IBIS in Bristol and felt it was a nice clean modern hotel, however this IBIS hotel didn't quite stand up to this standard. The decor is very tired, old and worn. The restaurant area has no atmosphere and the menu is the most disappointing part where my burger was served with crisps rather than chips... More

Visiting realyes in the UK today and stay for one night at this hotel, it is modern, excellent bed and bedding, the breakfast are brilliant and a good selcxtion of traditional English food, lots of fresh orange juice and fresh coffee. The hotel has a good atmosphere, the rooms are not to big but not too small either and with... More

Stayed 3 nights, my heart sank when I entered and saw reception/foyer. It felt like I was entering a hostel. The room was fine and I slept extremely well, however 2 inch gap at bottom of toilet door does not give much privacy. Ingrid who looked over breakfast was warm, lovely and made up for the austere surroundings, she is... More

Dear Kanali, Thank you for your review. I am rather surprised that your review of our lobby design is so negative. It is our new concept and has been very popular among our guests. The location is great and the staff friendly and helpful throughout our stay, but the music coming from the nightclub, although not unexpected is still a drag. I was pleased that the porter checked who we were on our return to the hotel at night and felt that this additional security was a bonus and not a hindrance as an... More

just the one night in this hotel. I do like IBIS hotels generally, but this one is very tired, despite the ok look of the reception. The staff on reception were excellent at check in and check out. Once in the lift the whole place changes and reminds me of the 1970's decor of woodchip paper and off white paint.... More

Service, location, breakfast and rooms all excellent. However, sleep was badly disturbed at 3:00 - 4:00 am by noise from a group of >40 violent young men brawling in the street underneath my bedroom window. They apparently had come down the road from a night-club at closing time. An unmarked police car switched on its warning lights and drove through... More
