- Accor Birmingham City Centre
- Ibis Birmingham

A central hotel which is ideal if you want a base for exploring. It's located in China Town and just around the corner from New Street Station. It's next to a busy night spot which is bustling on a Saturday night.

Stayed here on 18th May 2012. The only positive about our room was that it was clean. It was a tiny twin room with smallest bathroom, it was like a cupboard. It was too hot in the room and the windows only opened a jar. And the noise from the bars ans restaurants was awful and went on all night!

Very central location, only 4-5 mins walk to New street station and all the city centre shops. You're also right on the doorstep of numerous bars and restaurnts. The hotel itself is clean and comfotable. I found the staff very friendly and helpful.

For me Ibis stands for reliability and value for money. Room was good and clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom new and spotless. However, this hotel is right in the middle of the Birmingham nightlife centre. On a Friday night, expect thumping music till 4AM after which noisy revellers return home. I cannot say what this hotel is like on a...
