Hotel Lobby and resaturant are the of 4 star standard. The room I had on 1st floor was very basic 3 star room at best - no safe in room no air conditioning and no mini bar fridge! I booked with Superbreak to get 1 night free - so 2 nights inc breakfast for under £80 was great value. If... more

Myself & my husband stayed at this hotel with family and a group of friends. We had attended a Banquet at the Cap Centre. Our room was 114. We found our room to be dreary and dingy, the carpet looked dirty and we had no fridge/cooler or a safe as some of our family and friends had in their room.... more

The Novotel on Broad Street would be an ideal choice if attending a convention or concert in downtown Birmingham. The hotel and rooms were modern and well-maintained with a full breakfast that was first-rate. Although wifi is expensive, the coin-operated computer in the lobby is 20 minutes for a pound. A convenience store was adjacent and both low to high... more

I stayed at this hotel with my wife for two nights for a weekend away. We booked this on Superbreaks.com and got an excellent deal £102 which included breakfast and tickets for Cadbury World which is just a few miles away. This was my first stay in Birmingham and after reading a few reviews about Broad Street I was a... more

Beware this city centre hotel - even though I had to pre-pay £140 for a room (no refund if I failed to show), which was then supposed to be guaranteed, I arrived late at night to be told by the Duty Manager that there were no rooms left. This was, he said, due to a 'problem with the booking in... more

Four of us stayed in this hotel for a weekend. We had tickets for a concert at the Symphony Hall and choose this hotel for it's location and the fantastic price that we got from superbreaks. We paid £173 for two double rooms with breakfast included! The hotel was easy to find by car and has it's own carpark which... more

What a suprise, I had very low expectations for the Novotel but was pleasantly suprised. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable with sufficient pillow. The toilet separate to the bathroom which was a bit bit odd. Towels were white and fluffy. Hotel was located near Brindley Place and a short walk to the shopping centre. more

I stayed at the Novotel Birmingham Centre on a business trip last week, couldnt fault anything! Location was perfect - a five minute walk from Brindley Place. I even had a chance to visit the Bullring Shopping Centre as it is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the hotel. The rooms were bright & airy, clean & well maintained. The... more

The hotel is located in the city centre and is close to most of the good eateries and attractions in the city. The staff was a little stiff necked but polite. Nothing outstanding but a neat and clean hotel. more

got a good prepaid rate online. 5 minute taxi ride from New Street Station, probably walkable in 10 minutes. Broad Street is very tatty, now with some restaurants and bars seem to be closed. Check-in was friendly and efficient. Hotel was clean in and in good repair - however more like a 3 star. I upgraded to an executive room... more
