We got no sleep at all, the bed was so bad that in the end we slept on the sofa bed which wasn't much better. When we arrived the recepionist was more intrested in chatting to her friend than dealing with us. We complaind the next day and checked out early. We were promised a refund for the nights stay... more

This is a convenient, good value overnight stop about 5 miles from Birmingham city centre. It is in a residential area just outside the densely populated inner city belt. Modern hotel with free continental breakfast. The pub next door does good value carvery food. Ample car parking and quiet rooms. more

The location for me was quite good as i was only a few minutes from where i wanted to be, but it is 30mins from the city centre(as it is quite busy on the A34) and 15mins to the NEC/airport. Just returned from 1 night there. Perfect location (mid way) for journeys between London and Liverpool/Manchester/North Wales (e.g. Holyhead). Booked via their website for GBP39, including buffet breakfast. Room had 1 double, 1 fold out double sofa bed, plus a cot (all requested!), yet still had plenty of room (And I mean plenty!).
