This is a great hotel, service was excellent, food and drinks were exactly as we would have hoped and expected. Its a short walk to Broad Street and Brindley Place where there are a host of bars and restaurants and its also very close to the ICC and Barclaycard Arena. We had a club room and took advantage of the... More

Currently set it what seems like the middle of a war zone, the area is undergoing severe development, and everything seems dirty :( food is mediocre, room felt itchy, but price was indicative of the hotel at £75 for the family room.

Friendly staff and great amenities. Came by train so can't comment on parking. Stored our bags as early which we picked up later. Meal good although drinks expensive. Breakfast OK but the staff were very very efficient during this service. Certainly enjoyed the experience and would return.

Quite expensive tbh. Parking was poor. Originally set us in room in which right outside window was construction work. In a decent part of Birmingham. Don't think it's ideal place for couples tho. Rooms were nice, again felt like made more for business use tho and that type of thing. Staff were pleasent. Bar workers where more fun and chatty..... More

Stayed here for a night and found the staff friendly and accommodating. Room was quite spacious with a king size bed. The breakfast was good offering a choice of both full English or Continental. Hotel is located close to the train station.

Nice hotel, good service, friendly staff close enough to the Hippadrome to walk to a show. Didn't eat in so can't comment on the food but room was large, clean and with everything required. Great bed, quiet, slept well. Parking is interesting, I did manage to get one of the 6 or 7 spaces available and only £13.50 for 24... More

There's plenty of choice in Birmingham, and I would not return here. Why? Firstly, we booked club rooms. One had a split down the bathroom door, and the toilet failed to flush much away no matter what we tried. Secondly, we had breakfast included in the club deal. However, although breakfast includes coffee, it depends what sort of coffee! An... More

I stayed at this hotel for the first time. Check in was a quick and easy process, the receptionist was polite and smiley. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was of a high specification and contained quality toiletries. The dressing gown and towels were luxurious. There was no welcome pack and I discovered the gym, the restaurant offers... More

Room - The room was simplistic and modern. Nice designs through out. Heating/air con very efficient. High standards of cleanliness, but not quite perfection. Toiletries and tissues etc available. Tea, coffee, biscuits etc also available. Extremely comfortable beds. Toothpaste/brush, feather pillows etc available on request. Disappointingly, only one robe for a room booked with 2 double beds. Telephoned reception 3... More

Its few mins. walk from the station. Peaceful surroundings but areas like Brindley's place, new street and library etc are nearby. The rooms are good and staff is helpful. There are better places to eat near the hotel, if you are bored of the room service. Mailbox is the closest one.
