We paid in advance for a family room and got a very cheap deal. The room was small for a family room as the two junior beds were squashed up against our double. It wasn't child friendly as the travel kettle was in reach of our toddler. The hotel location was fab as we were right next to the Germans... More

I stay at a lot of Premier Inn's for both business and pleasure. This was the worst so far. Reception staff were friendly although they persuade you to 'check in electronically' - I prefer a proper reception. Only one lift working for over 700 rooms. The one that was working smelt disgusting and similar to that of vomit ! The... More

We have just returned from our second stay at this hotel. Excellent location near the Cathedral, clean, very comfortable accommodation & although we were at the back this time overlooking the air vents we didn't hear any noise. We'd booked a twin room but when I booked in online it stated all twins are a double bed & a sofa... More

Easy check in, staff always smiling and helpful without going over the top. Had evening meal before going to theatre and it was well served, hot and well cooked. Great night sleep through the night, this is unusual for my wife and I. Brill breakfast, all added to a great visit to Birmingham

Excellent, central warm and welcoming with very helpful staff. i have already highly recommended! Food massive variety and lots of helpful staff to advise. Bedroom met all requirements if not more, Hot water for shower, bed very clean and pillow options. no noise from the busy streets below considering the centre of Birmingham

Have just got back from a 2 night stay in Birmingham at the Premier Inn and, as ever, nothing at all to complain about - always great service. You can't beat them for value for money. Great location - very central, although this did mean there was no car parking on site (something I missed when booking, but parking wasn't... More

On arrival our room was not ready so had to wait 20min, that was ok as it was 1.50pm. The room on arrival was not very warm so turned up the heating but it did not seam to get warm ( I always complain the rooms in hotels are too warm so it must have been cold). On going to... More

We stayed at this Premier Inn because of the location.(Christmas Frankfurt Market) In total there were 16 of us so quite a lot of people to accomodate. Booking in was swift. Breakfast was excellent and this is where our fab experience begins. Sheila was in charge what a fab lady she is. She goes beyond her job role. Her team... More

Excellent city centre location close to station and shops. Staff were Friendly and helpful. Hearty breakfast. Would use this hotel again. Premier Inn need to improve WiFi offering. Lunch and dinner menu could be better.

I have visited Birmingham many times over recent years. I would recommend this Premier Inn for its proximity to the shopping, restaurants and all that the centre has on offer. It is central but still not overly noisy as it is located within yards of the cathedral.
