Just finished a two night stay in this homely hotel in the centre of Bournville as I was meeting some friends. I was greeted by friendly staff, there was a variety to choose from at breakfast which was lovely and the room was kept very clean. I was in room 1 on the top floor which meant I had a... More

Just back from a short stay at this hotel it was booked for me by a relative so I didn't quite know what to expect. Needless to say Aunty did good, this home from home hotel suited me down to the ground. I was checked into my room by a nice friendly smiley member of staff the room was not... More

I am a old hand at travelling, and the old farm is one of the worst. The first thing you notice on arrival is a combination lock on the front door with no one on reception, after ringing a bell you are greeted and showed to your room, room 10 is thier 'delux single' with is 2.5m x 2.5m and... We (group of eight) have just had a two night stay at this hotel and enjoyed every minute. It is very much a traditional small English hotel with clean rooms, friendly helpful staff, lovely breakfast, good rates and a well stocked bar. We would all recomend with confidence.

My husband and I stayed here this weekend for a Birthday trip to Cadbury World, and we wanted a hotel/B&B that was close to Cadbury's. This place was a short walk from Cadburys, so couldn't be better placed, and although it is on a fairly busy road through Bournville, our room was nice and quiet on the top floor (room... More

Stayed here for one night as I was attending a family event near by. Upon arrival we were made to feel welcome by Claire who had made a special effort to get the room ready for us, although we arrived early. We had room 7 which has been specially adapted for disabled people, and it had both a double and... More

We recently spent two nights here as my sister's wedding was nearby. The food we had for dinner was excellent; even though advertised as 'home cooked' it was better than food served in most restaurants and there was plenty of choice.

we chose this hotel because it was close to the Royal Orthapaedic Hospital and we had an early appointment there. Room was quite small but cosy (oil filled radiator in the cupboard that we were grateful for as the weather was VERY cold), tea and coffee facilities,tv. Nice extras in the bathroom (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, shower caps etc )... More

What a lovely place 2 stay. Within walking distance of Cadburys World and within easy reach of Birmingham city centre via Bournville rail station. Jane and her staff were great notning was too much trouble if you like proper home cooking go for it. If you can book room 6 has lovely view over garden. Really great!

This is a friendly, pleasant place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable with it's own shower and toilet. The bed was comfortable- though I prefer a duvet to sheets and blankets. It is an old building with quaint nooks and crannies meaning that the window did not quite fit the frame. we must have been quite close to... More
