Stayed here for one night as I was attending a family event near by. Upon arrival we were made to feel welcome by Claire who had made a special effort to get the room ready for us, although we arrived early. We had room 7 which has been specially adapted for disabled people, and it had both a double and... More

We recently spent two nights here as my sister's wedding was nearby. The food we had for dinner was excellent; even though advertised as 'home cooked' it was better than food served in most restaurants and there was plenty of choice.

we chose this hotel because it was close to the Royal Orthapaedic Hospital and we had an early appointment there. Room was quite small but cosy (oil filled radiator in the cupboard that we were grateful for as the weather was VERY cold), tea and coffee facilities,tv. Nice extras in the bathroom (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, shower caps etc )... More

What a lovely place 2 stay. Within walking distance of Cadburys World and within easy reach of Birmingham city centre via Bournville rail station. Jane and her staff were great notning was too much trouble if you like proper home cooking go for it. If you can book room 6 has lovely view over garden. Really great!

This is a friendly, pleasant place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable with it's own shower and toilet. The bed was comfortable- though I prefer a duvet to sheets and blankets. It is an old building with quaint nooks and crannies meaning that the window did not quite fit the frame. we must have been quite close to... More

Arriving late from visiting my sister at the Queens Elizabeth Hospital (amazing place too) this hotel could not of been more helpful. Nothing was a problem and they were very supportive towards to me. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone - very convenient back and to the hospital. An it's also next to Cadbury World! Dee.

I held my aunt's funeral buffet here and everyone commented on its perfect setting and its excellent fresh home-made food. Booking an unknown quantity I knew as soon as I spoke with the owner that this would be the right place for us. The member of staff on duty was the perfect balance in unobtrusive yet attentive service with a... More

Visited the hotel today for my great aunt's wake. The service was friendly, the hotel unpretentious and the food excellent. I have eaten a lot of bland buffet food at some very fancy weddings but the food at the Old Farm Hotel was far tastier. I mostly hovered near the sandwiches while my children performed cartwheels in the garden and... More
