I was staying in Birmingham for one night on business and stayed at the travel lodge on new hall street, I was really impressed with the service Lee and his team gave me and would highly recommend when staying in the city.

Excellent location to the Barclaycard Arena (NIA). Only 10 mins walk from the place. The road works only spoiled it for us in finding the place. The travelodge was clean, the rooms were clean. The shower was not the best and storage space was very limited, but we were only staying for one night. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Having stayed at the hotel before Christmas and had an experience that was not the best we fared the worst when we stayed on New Years Eve. Check in at about 18.00 was polite and efficient and we were in our room within a couple of minutes. The room was prepared and clean unlike our December visit. We asked for... More

My Wife and I stayed on a Saturday night in order to visit a local club that evening. It was as I expected for the price and met my expectations. The Travelodge is situated in the old jewelery quarter with the city centre within walking distance. The room was clean and again no more than expected. We only booked the room... More

This is a nice new hotel which is good value for money. It is clean, comfortable and about 15 minutes walk from New street main railway station. Offsite discounted parking available in a large NCP car park. The staff were friendly and very helpful. If you want a cheap stay near the centre of Birmingham I would recommend this hotel.

Probably my best stay in aTravelodge. Spotless, comfortable room. But most important, attentive and helpful staff who all went out of their way to ensure guests of all ages felt welcome and looked after.

Near to city center: 5-10 minutes walk. Birmingham New Street Station 15 minutes walk. Reliable quality of room and facilities. Great for a city break B&B. No frills. Good basic quality at a good price.

Used this hotel just to explore Birmingham whilst celebrating a friends birthday. It was an average stay. Nothing over-whelming. The pull out beds where extremely hard. Pillows are hard and high. If you want soft and low pillows, bring your own. Breakfast is more expensive than going to a café round the corner. Parking is discounted at the local NCP... More
