This newly refurbished hotel is just on the edge of Birmingham City Centre. It is convenient for a wide range of areas and offers comfortable accommodation at a very reasonable price. It offers Wi Fi free for 30 minutes or £3 for up to 24 hours. If you park your car overnight at the local NCP the hotel funds you... More

This is a very conveniently located hotel in this budget chain. Five minutes walk from the beginning of the shopping and retail centre of Birmingham, its outlook is uninspiring (a mildly busy road on one side and a 'yard' out the back with a view of building works). Nevertheless it is great to be able to get back from an... More

Really pleased with the location and parking was easy to find. The staff are really friendly and helpful, they even printed off a map for us of the local area and provided some directions. The room was clean and of a reasonable size. The only thing to mention was that the room was very warm. However, a fan was provided... More

Stayed here for my wife's birthday as we were having a party at the nearby Jam House. The room was basic but perfectly reasonable for the price, very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. No complaints at all. Recommend for a budget stay in central Birmingham.

Stayed here for a friends birthday on a Saturday night. When we arrived at the travelodge and tried to check in, the staff at the reception barely acknowledged us. They chatted amongst themselves and for some reason it took a few minutes for them to actually bother speaking to us again and handing us over the key. For some reason... More

First visit to this Travelodge, booked for an overnight business stay. Despite being in a side street, a very modern, bright, clean and comfortable Travelodge, my room was smaller that others I have been given elsewhere but functional and not a great problem, easily made up for by being only a short walk from the commercial and shopping area. Very... More

I enjoyed my stay at Travelodge. The brand is familiar to me, simple to navigate and I know what to expect. I was welcomed when I arrived by a pleasant member of staff who quickly booked me in and gave me the key and room details. The room was on the third floor with 2 lifts that could be accessed... Stayed with 2 friends in a huge family room with 3 good beds, hotel spotlessly clean, fresh and bright, good location pretty quiet but central. good breakfast. excellent value, professional staff. reduced price parking available and the nearest pub 50 metres away is really good too. great for groups of friends or families.

Location wise for the jam house it was perfect. Rooms are incredibly basic, bed and pillows were uncomfortable and hard. Breakfast tomatoes tasted of fish cooking oil. We left shortly after that......
