Nice hotel in a good location. Free parking is a bonus. The staff here are so welcoming, Joanne made the booking pain free and looked after us during our stay. She could not do enough for us. Will defiantly be back

Stayed here again on 27th. We like to use it as our base camp for gigs in Birmingham. Slipknot this time! Very pleasant stay again. Friendly, helpful staff. Very good value as you get full use of the spa which we took advantage of before getting battered and bruised at the gig! The room was also very nice and spacious... More

we booked just for a night to stay and go to a concert at the NIA, this is on the main road heading in toward town and is a large hotel. Parking is free and the car park is a good size. check in was strictly at 2 and not before and was busy but we were given discount cocktail... More

We arrived at the hotel, first impressions was that it was dated and needed a good clean. It also had a funny smell about it... it was booked through laterooms as a non refundable purchase so we paid for our room £45 room only, we requested a bath so our baby could be bathed and settled as she doesn't often... Hotel was shocking and we were on a stag do so weren't expecting luxury. My first room I could barely get in because of ill placed furniture and the toilet back pipe wasn't fitted properly and when I flushed it the bathroom flooded which was lucky because the tv didn't work either. My second room wasn't much better but it... More

Having driven past quite a few times it looks ok from the outside but as I pulled up I realised that it's obviously a hotel used a lot by transient contractors. To show that I'm not moaning just for the sake of it, the positives were that the reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the towels were nice... More

Let's begin with the positives reception staff was pleasant but was slow. That's it with the positives. My bedroom that i shared with my other half was ludicrous!! Poo stains on the toilet, wallpaper coming off from the seams! Then to top things off breakfast was hilarious the scrambled egg looked like curdled custard floating on top of water. bacon and sausages was poor... Went to use pool and lesiure facility didn't stay long in pool, very murky colour water with grit like sand on floor by edges so didn't stay in long. Room clean and tidy but seen better days, heating didn't work said would be on wasnt, went... More

Very shabby hotel ...... rubbish cold & dated room .... avoid ..... They put me in a room that took five minutes to get to at the far end of the hotel ...... the place resembles a hostel more than a hotel ... The website pictures at the time of booking did not accurately show the room I was given.

In terms of my employment I regularly stay in hotels up and down the UK, week in week out. My first impressions is from the outside the hotel appeared welcoming and is well sign posted from Hagley Road. But my impressions soon dwindled. Upon arriving there was no one at reception. Ironically there is a buzzer on the Reception desk... More
