If you check the website this hotel looks lovely, but don't be mistaken! The room I stayed in was dirty, the toilet and shower was broken. The walls are so thin you can hear every word of the conversations the people next door are having. I got woken up at 4 in the morning by a group of girls coming... More

I consider my booking here as an uncharacteristic mistake! For the first time in a long time I booked without checking Trip Advisor first. Had I done so I would not have stayed but it was too late as I had already booked a non-refundable room! I was drawn in by the extremely flattering website!! That photographer deserves a medal... The front desk staff at this hotel, have the worst service you can ever imagin. I spent 3 night at this hotel during a trip to birmingham. Though the room was ok and breakfast was nice but I can't get over the front desk staffs. They were rude, Arrogant, extremely unfriendly and tell you off at every opportunity. The worst... More

We were travelling to Birmingham to attend a trade show and wanted somewhere to stay for the night - this hotel came up as very cost effective so we booked. Apparently this hotel used to be called the Quality hotel, however there was nothing Quality about it. First impressions in the hotel lobby seemed quite good, however everything went down... More

Two adults and two children booked into this hotel for two nights at total of £250 for the stay. On entering the hotel it initially looked quite nice. On closer inspection it was awful. We were given the keys to our room. The room had three wall lights two of which were missing. The net curtains were mouldy. There was... More

What a disgusting hotel, how it's allowed to operate with the lack of hygiene and the amount of mould and rot present! The rooms are filthy, the beds are vile and the whole place smells of damp and cigarette smoke. All the staff have been very abrupt apart from the bar man. The menu is seriously lacking and like being... More

I stayed here at the weekend with a group of my girlfriends (6 of us in total with 4 twin rooms) for a birthday celebration. Immediately we were greeted by a young miserable lady who thought she was gods gift. We were all excited and giddy as we were looking forward to the night ahead. This women just didn't seem... More

Wanted somewhere to stay close to friends as in Birmingham for a Naval reunion weekend. Saw this place and thought ideal for the price quoted. Had a great view from my bedroom window. But I had a few issues. A big gap under the door that I only noticed at night. The sink plug wasn't attached to the chain and... More

Booked in here for convenience and cost. Used it purely to for sleeping accommodation. Our room was clean and basic. The shower was new and worked well. We had a TV that worked and two light bulbs that didn't. These were changed day 2 after request. The shower/toilet area door lock mechanism was broken and wouldn't close so when in... More

The room was very basic like a budget hotel. The worst thing was the bathroom with the lock broken, no fitting on the main light with the wires showing and the shaving light not working. There were brown stains on the ceiling. The carpet was wet which gave a dank smell and overall the room had a musty smell. I... More
