We booked online and got a deal at £50 for two midweek with a £1 booking fee. Breakfast was about another £6-7 per person depending on whether you paid when you arrived, the night before. The best part was the spa which has a Spa bath attached to the pool - good, strong massage and seemed to be on permanently.... More

Having used this hotel frequently we had no hesitation in booking agian as we can leave the car to go into the City for work. But... no air-con meant the room was hot, hot, hot - but I was given a fan on request. The tap on the bath was broken so couldn't have a shower. This hotel is used... More

I stayed here for work, and given it's proximity to where I was teaching it was great. At £52 a night it's pretty good value for money but it does need a major renovation. The first room I was in a double the shower didn't work at all, I was then quickly moved to another room (triple) which was large... More

We stayed on our roundtrip for one night. The waiters were unfriendly at the breakfast asking me not to use my fingers for bread, as I prevented the whole set of croissants of falling from the staple they did. The coffee tasted like heated a second time, and the breakfast place was looking like cleaned a view days before the... More

After a terrible start to our stay in Birmingham (21st May 2014 ) a lovely cabbie took my friend and I to this lovely hotel. After explaining our predicament to them they not only found us a twin room but couldn't have been more helpful in providing us with accommodation, food information etc. I would like to say a big... Stayed here for T20 final 2014. Before I start the room was a bargain, £48 for a double, plus there was free onsite parking, which is a big bonus. The staff seemed very polite and helpful. The room was very old and tired looking and smelt damp/fusty. The bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. I doubt I will go back,... More

You pay for what you get and this was a good deal for £40 a night including breakfast. The hotel is worn and needs an injection of TLC but the bed was comfy, sheets clean, bathroom clean with a good shower and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a buffet and adequate to set you up for the day.... More

I stayed here for one night (thank god!) with my sister-in-law on Saturday 23rd August. I was told i couldnt pay by cash as there was a £50 deposit for cash payments so it would have to be a card payment only. When we got to our room it smelt of burning, as if somebody had left a hair dryer... More
