My partner and I stayed here when the wireless festival was on. We stayed for four nights. 3/7/14 until the 7/7/14 It was our first time in a British hostel too. We had a double room with private bathroom. We didn't spend too much time in the room,as we were out enjoying ourselves. But I have to say it everything... More

I stayed in 12 mixed dorm for 1 week. Mixed but they have private curtain for each bed. So it was really relaxed. It seems sometimes big group stays and loudly, but after they left was very quiet. Wi-Fi is available at only common space and dining.

I stayed here one night in July 2014. really clean place, modern in design with an amazing view from the lounge. free brakfast. friendly staff, great city. one of the coolest hostel I've ever been. 10 minutes walk from the citycenter. quiet and safe, cheap and nice. if you happen to be in Birmingham I would highly reccomend it.

Magnificent bedrooms, awesome bathrooms and great location...but no wifi whatsoever. At the room it was impossible to reach any signal, we had to move to the common room (very welcoming by the way) so as to use whatsapp -let alone watch a film! Morning breakfast is good; higher quality than expected from a youth hostel. Una pena lo del wifi,... More

Nice and cheap hostel. Stayed here one night with my mom in November 2013. The room was clean, nice and had really comfortable beds. The staff was nice and helpful. It was a bite hard too find tough. Walking distance to the central shopping area.

Booked a 4 bed room. Super clean. Shower didn't have hot water was resolved later on. Very friendly reception. Breakfast location is hidden deep inside. Huge living space - great for meeting people and socialising.

Stayed the weekend of the 11-12th July first night in the basement was damp with mould everywhere, the beds had been changed but the room was full of rubbish. Smelt awful and when I complained was given another room. Manager told me that room had been cleaned that day. It clearly had not. Very very poor service compared to hatters... More

I booked a 12 bed, mixed, shared dormitory because I was told they have some that are not upstairs. After taking my debit card and drivers licence ID, I was then told that the room I booked wasn't available "after all" but I could pay for a more expensive private room. Yet those too were upstairs, despite my specifically requesting... More

Stayed in a private room that had an ensuite. The bathroom was exceptionally clean as was the bedroom. We could not figure out how to set up the tv but there is one in the common room along with a pool table. We travelled to Birmingham on train and the station we arrived in was a bit far from the... We got a private room and it was very clean with the exception of the giant mold spot above the shower. Super clean sheets, tv, cookies, excellent breakfasr though the place is a bit of a maze or fire trap, so know your exits. Not for somone with ny physical ailment for climbing.location is a wee bit confusing.
