I booked a single bed in a 24 bed dorm and was travelling alone. The first good thing was that the hostel was close to the city centre, easily walkable. The reception area was well-appointed, clean, smart and bang up to date. It had varnished brickwork and felt like a trendy warehouse conversion. I was wary about a 24 bed... More

I stayed here for 6 nights in a very big room on the first floor. The location is near the train station: Snow Hill and at15 minutes to city centre. very friendly staff and some activities of integration for the guests, I enjoyed the dinner on Tuesday's night by Miguel from Brazil and the Yoga session with Jesus from Spain.... We booked twodouble rooms for new years eve for ouselves and friends. loud music was being played in reception at 2am when we returned from our night out. we were woken at around 4.30 am by the reception staff playing loud music again. I had to get dressed and go down to reception to ask them to stop, not very... More

Stayed here for one night for a concert in December. I was with 5 friends and we booked a whole hostel dorm for ourselves which came with a shower room, three keys, three bunk beds and lockers. Good location - walkable distance to the train station and around 15 mins by taxi to Barclay's Arena Good vibe - slightly noisy... More

I booked a last-minute dorm bed as my intended host had to back out the same day. The room they had me booked for was upstairs. As I'm disabled and there's no lift, the chap at reception promptly moved me to a room on the ground floor. There are still a few steps (and the stairs down to the kitchen),... More

Best hostel for the low price range. It was comfortable and clean. The service was good, and friendly making booking and paying easy. Also provided could local knowledge about the area. The room was as expected, fairly spacious, fairly comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Social areas are well set out. Kindly stored luggage after checkout.

Booked a double room with ensuite as it looked cool and quirky from the online images. There were hotels available in the city at the same price (without breakfast), but I knew there was free parking outside the hostel for the time of my stay. When we first arrived at 2:50pm, we were made to wait until 3pm for a... More

I stayed here for a weekend with some university friends- we had booked a private room. We arrived late on the Friday and the receptionist was very helpful. The room was clean and tidy although (did smell a little damp after showering): the continental breakfast included a range of cereals, toast and hot drinks which was enough to get us... More
