We held a family and friends get-together of 70 people on Sunday afternoon at the Beeches. There were four generations from ninety years to ten months. The Beeches staff helped to make it a thoroughly lovely afternoon. The location and facilities are excellent and we spilled out from the room into the bar and the bouncy castle on the lawn.... More

We arrived after a long delay due to traffic hold ups, Parked the car and made our way up to Reception. We were expecting a Nice room in the Hotel itself, as we had made a request for a large room with a view of the garden if possible, but unfortunately we were allocated a room in an area called... Dear WINDFARMWATCHER. Thank you for your review. I have had a good chat with Dean and Simon and they too are thrilled with your comments. It is important that where your product is not as you want it, you wow your customers with great personality and service. I am glad we were able to do that for you. I would... More

We have just spent one evening at the weekend at this hotel, and have found that like some other reviews the hotel is more of a conference centre than a hotel. When we booked we asked for a quiet room and was duly placed in the roof-space room with the kitchen extractor belching out! As we was there for only... More

Dear Motters1965 Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I am pleased you found the staff friendly and that your breakfast was good, but I wholeheartedly apologise for your wife's omelette. The head chef is on duty today and is going to re-train the chef on duty at the time in the art of making omelettes and... More

Spent a wonderful week here doing a Heal Your Life Teacher Training. The grounds, the friendly staff and the entire atmosphere of The Beeches really added to making it a week to remember. The only disadvantage was that the food was so delicious that I am now on a diet!!! However, don't let this put you off as The Beeches... More

My wife & I think The Beeches feels more like a medium-grade conference facility than a hotel. I certainly think that the website over-sells it somewhat. That said, everything was functional, the staff were efficient & polite and our breakfast was fine & cooked to order. Our top-floor room was spacious with a reasonable wi-fi signal and good bed, but... More

Dear Jonathan A. Thank you for your review. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed the facilities and that you found the staff polite, had a good cooked to order breakfast and with a god bed and bedroom facilities. My apologies about the noise from the extraction unit, which I agree on a warm day with the windows open,... More

I will start by listing all the positives: It is in a quiet area with large car park, attractive wooded location, and all the staff I met - from reception onwards - seemed determined that my stay should be a pleasant one. The room was large, bright and clean, the bed comfortable. As well as the basic (e.g. Travelodge) requirements,... More

Spent the night with my wife before daughters wedding. This was a midweek stay and the hotel was quiet.Staff were very helpful and lovely full English breakfast the following morning. Ideal for visiting Cadburys World and only a short distance into Birmingham. We will use this good value hotel again. Plenty of free car parking space

Overnight visit on 02/05/2014. On arrival my daughter and i could not believe we were in the city of Birmingham. The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings, a tree line street and lovely houses with gardens in full bloom. My daughter and i stayed for just one night, £48 each for a room with breakfast. The receptionists were very welcoming... More

Some very conflicting reviews on here, however the hotel was located 3 minutes from where we need to be for a friends party so I decided to 'risk it'. It was perfectly acceptable for the price, however our room was in a newish block (superior room), double bed, desk type table area, wardrobe, bedside table, all extremely clean. Bedding was... More
