We stayed here on a Saturday night whilst visiting relatives in Yardley. The room was somewhat noisy at the front BUT we were offered on arrival a room towards the back by the very amenable host front of house lady. Extremely clean room and a very high standard for £60 odd inc breakfast. Pleasant bathroom in a mid 1990s style... More

We stayed for 2 nights at this B & B and we thought it was excellent value for money. We were visiting the Bluecoat School nearby for a reunion and we would stay at the woodlands for any future visit. The owner was really helpful with directions to the school. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast superb.... More

We stayed here overnight last week, and were very happy with our choice. The hotel is clean and bright and very welcoming. The bed was comfortable, the towels and bathrobe were supersoft and fluffy, and the breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked, though I think they are more skilled with fried than poached eggs :-/ Parking was good and locked... We stayed here for 2 nights in a family room with our 2 dogs. The hotel is within easy reach of the city by car & is also on a direct bus route. The room was very spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. We were given clean towels each day and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful &... More

I had an appointment at Queen Elizabeth Hospital for 9.20 in the morning and decided to stay overnight at a nearby hotel and chose the Woodlands from the internet. The staff were most courteous and helpful, the room was faultless with good quality fittings and a most comfortable bed. Parking was ample and a superb breakfast was served by a... More

My husband and his brother stayed at Woodlands overnight as they were in Birmingham for our son's stag do. My husband said that the rooms were lovely, spacious and well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities. The shower worked well and the water hot. Very comfortable bed and although the room overlooked the main road it was surprisingly quiet. They had... More

Looks like we had the same family room at the back as the last review. Spacious room. We were due to be on the second floor but when Silvia (Sylvia?) saw my partner couldn't handle stairs too well she moved us down a floor. Lovely breakfast. We bought some flowers for Silvia as a thank you for making us so... More

Great friendly hotel. We have just returned from a 2 night break at the hotel and although not luxurious it was perfect for us. We had a family room which was at the back of the hotel. It was large, clean and also very quiet. The breakfast was great and very filling. The hotel is on a good bus route... More

I stayed here for three nights, the room was clean and large enough, the TV was too small for the room and you could hear next doors TV and people walking across the floor. The shower was red hot and I could not manage to get a happy medium with the teperature, the fan in the bathroom was very noisy... More
