I stayed here for three nights, the room was clean and large enough, the TV was too small for the room and you could hear next doors TV and people walking across the floor. The shower was red hot and I could not manage to get a happy medium with the teperature, the fan in the bathroom was very noisy... More

We stayed here last night. We had a friendly welcome from the lady on reception (proprietor?) who assigned us to a back room which she said would be quieter for us. It was a nice large room, old fashioned (in a good way), comfortable and homely. As we were at the back it was nice and quiet, with a nice... More

I booked 2 nights stay through Booking.com as I had a conference to attend at the Hagley Village, which was virtually across the road. I was checked in with minutes and although I booked a single, was given a spacious twin, with a sitting area on the 2nd floor. Although slightly aged, the room was clean, spacious, warm and comfortable... More

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Booked a single room on Booking.com for £40 per night including breakfast. Was given a spacious twin with sitting area, fridge, tea making facilities as well as a hairdryer. Adequate car parking to the rear and also the front. The landlady was pleasant and accommodating, she also severed breakfast. The room was on the... More

Avoid this place music played till really late we stayed on the second floor and the whole room vibrated due to the level of the music! Cars seemed unsafe outside in car park as lots of young people were hanging around them drunk! Families left due to small children being distressed and unable to sleep! No apologies either! One plus... More

Overnight stay in Birmingham on business and all that was required for the perfect B&B was 1. Comfortable bed -- and that box was ticked 2. Quiet room -- OK but only after the evening football match finished on the TV in the adjoining room 3. Door Lock -- It didn't work but I was told that it was scheduled... More

I've stayed here a few times now and has always had a good experience, the staff are always friendly the rooms have been spacious and clean and the wifi is excellent until this stay, my room was at the front of the hotel so all you can hear is the busy road outside. The room had a double bed so... More

The Woodlands Hotel is a very nice place to stay. The staff are friendly & helpful. Silviya made me very welcome at breakfast. A delicious breakfast it was too. A good old English fry up-& not a drop of excess grease on the plate. The presentation was splendid & such good bacon! There are alternatives for non meat eaters. It's further... More

I travelled to Birmingham alone for The Creation Conference, as my husband died earlier in the year and I was made so welcome by the owners of this Hotel. I nearly cancelled the trip, but I'm so glad I didn't. I had 4 comfortable, peaceful nights at the Woodlands in a single room which had everything I needed, even a... More

I stayed at the Woodlands Hotel with my sister and our elderly mother when we took her to see an old college friend of hers who was poorly. We stayed in a 3 bedded room on the second floor ( the hotel has no lift!) which was a bit of a challenge for our mum! The room was dated but spacious,... More
