This place belongs in 1960s East Berlin. It is dark and grim and cheerless. I arrived Sunday night 8.00, looking forward to clean and comfortable accommodation before work the following day. The tiny room has clearly not been refurbished or improved in 40 years and has the air of a refugees transit camp. The toilet and bathroom being along the... More

I booked this hotel through hotels.com. The room description was a single room with ensuite bathroom. The actual room did not have a toilet or bath, only a sink. The hotel was hardly full so do not know why the room I was given did not have a bathroom. The nearest toilet and shower were along the corridor. Would pay... More

Within half an hour of arriving I had been bitten on my legs by bugs/fleas. No top sheet and the bottom sheet had been slept on and had stains all over. The quilt cover had ground in dirt, very bad nights sleep. No hot water in the shower and left without breakfast because just wanted to get out as quick... More

I stayed here with my husband on 1 Dec 2012 and booked it as it was advertised as a 4* Guesthouse. We stayed in a family room (double bed and bunk beds) and were surprised at how small the room was. There was only enough room for the 2 of us so I don't know how a family would get... More

They've got a wee livingroom well eqiped with videos and books, a T.V and video so you could spend all day in there if you wanted to. Breakfast is excellent and parking is excellent theres loads of space... More

Booked this guest house for members of my family that were visiting and so pleased that I did. The owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble to them. The family were raving about the full english breakfast and said the guest house was very clean & tidy and the owners really friendly and helpful. The rooms were... More

We are a family of 5 who have stayed at Yardley Guest House for a week so far in a 2 week stay in between a house move. We found Sue and Dave to be extremely friendly and helpful, with nothing being too much trouble. We don't normally bother with reviews or surveys, but their efforts to make sure we... More
